It is, but made me wonder why we are using late beemers on a 1964 track config sounds perfect for some old fezzas and Jags.

Don't know this one but I think that the announcement should say PnGv3.1 rather than v3 in a couple of places. Matt been cutting and pasting from old stuff again?

as i'd never even heard of this track I looked it up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hG6WqBxl0W8Hasn't been used since 1966 and was only in existence for 3 years upto then so not sure why on earth we are racing top spec 70's Beemers on it, but will wait to be impressed with Matts choice of track/car combo

Hello people, I'm back now There are two versions of the track, and I opted for the one that is called Greenwood P&G v3 because it contains P&G in the title I have no idea what the differences are. I accept MJs complaint about the lack of historical accuracy, I tried a few cars here, not all, but a few, and this seemed to me a great track for these Beemers, simple as that. p.s It's not so much me that cuts and pastes, the system does automatically, and sometimes I miss what it's done.

Perhaps the 3.3 litre #21 Jägermeister Alpina should be excluded from group B Matt? It has exactly the same torque as the 3.5 liter cars. Not much of a handicap I dare say Stig

You may be right Stig, but it was the Jagermeister that I tested with and I was quite a bit faster in the 3.5 one so maybe the stated figures are not the whole game? Either way, even if it's an easy drive for the Aliens I would prefer not to change it now.

this place...aa-ahh, nothing but a ghost town.... (Specials song circulating in my head) Race day and we haven't even got past page1 in the thread, sad days :'( guess im guilty as everyone as haven't done a lap yet. Will get some praccy in before the race this eve. Looks like the initial enthusiasm towards P&G3 is now waning after a year as seen lower grids over at GC too, and with AC being the new kid on the block it may get worse. Probably worth re-advertising our races over at No-grip again to pull in new punters or remind old ones.

Good fun this combo. Too bad I don't have the energy to do more races. I was knackered after 7 laps , so not much concentration left to focus. Not that I would've had the chance to catch Ed with his pace
