Make sure your LOCAL _IP_LOBBY.TXT file contains gtr2server1.gtr-evolution.com
Some have found that they can get straight in. Others have had to change their username or password or re-register

Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v3.1 from:  http://www.gtlw.co.uk/
(4) Watch our for pit lane speeding, some tracks support this.
(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect

There are:
4x Very fast tracks, 4x Medium , and 4x slower/tighter tracks
And pitstops are only at half the events

There are 12 Events, and 15 cars, so there will be a choice of 4 cars at the last event.
The Le Mans Finale is the "revived" version, and (force field on) it's the one with the chicanes
After the way the last one turned out I have no choice.

Rough guide to track Pace and which events have Pit Stops:

Faster: Barcelona (Stop); Paul Ricard;  Spa (Stop); Le Mans revived (Stop);

Medium: Melbourne (Albert Park);  Imola (Stop);  Interlagos;   Mexico 67;

Slower: Hungaroring (Stop);   Keimola;   Portimao (Stop);  Albi 2006;

One of my fave tracks and I get to use the superb 2.8RSR here, yeah baby  Cool. The 906's and Panteras will be stiff opposition though.

It will be Matt's typing.   Roll Eyes

Best thing is to go on-line to see if you can join the server.

EDIT:  But this only works if we have a server.

Cheers Tony.

Think I'm in trouble here!  Can't get within four seconds of MJ without taking liberties with the curbs.

I hate these chicane ridden places!

Umm It is not meant to be the 2004 version, It is supposed to be the 1994 one without the Senna chicane
Looks like I assumed it was built in. No matter, we can run this version as people seem to have been
practicing it.

Flippety flip, my team mate just reminded me it's 2x tyre wear and a pitstop !  Shocked bugger, I've not practised either lol  Embarrassed. I really must read the thread top more closely, perhaps I didn't take it seriously when I saw 1994  Grin looks like I get to practise pitstops tomorrow night before the race  Roll Eyes

That would have been a bit better.  But as you say, it's too late to do anything about it now.

Just have to hope that I don't get lapped too often.

The curb police will need to be vigilant too!  Roll Eyes
