Virginia International Raceway (VIR) has a mixture of tight corners and wide sweeping fast sections.
It is also quite wide and allows plenty of room for passing

Late in, no time for practice let alone the qually session  & was also going to be a little tighter on time for making the start of the race...
Could have done without the mother-in-law calling at that very moment just after 9PM  (who calls at that time of night?!); so missed out on the GT race by seconds.   Further more;  she has some internet/home-tech issue that needs some help tomorrow!

Meant I was back on bedtime duty & first drive was straight into qually session of the CanAms.  Ended up rather lonely out there; which was probably just as well.

Nevermind,   at least I could remember which way most of the corners went (from 2nd time round anyway).

Cheers,
Dave.

No problem Francesco !

After you hit me, my 917 made several "tetacou" as said Andrea De Cesaris in 1985 (see below) but was able to continue the race !!!

Damn shame I got disconnected from the GT race, because I was looking forward to seeing how Axel was going to get that bloody great tank of his past my Porsche.  Tongue

YEAH! shame!

I was just on your tail when you dissappeared  Shocked
My plan was to be close through OakTree and pass on the straight to have a gap to the finish line...

1. Am I spouse to get an Email a day or so before each event?

2. Any car? Ferrari, Lotus, Honda etc.

3. Im in Canada so what the time difference to calculate my race time.

My Email: [email protected]

-I have raced on many Leagues and i always like getting a email a day or so before the race so I can download stuff. If you guys don't do those emails I understand 110%

hi mate,,
no emails.
race days and  time don't change. its sunday Tuesday and Friday at 9pm uk time.
register here https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=12128.0
and rock up in igor before 9pm tonight #ukgpl

have any car, but there is a token system so if you have the lotus now you have to have the brm next time. I would take the braby first time out.
system explained here - https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=426&theme=6

I think you are 5 hours behind so 4pm start.
good luck

edit: anyone else having issue with the site. its taking 1 min to load every page with 50% chance of it not loading at all  Huh
