my sodding wheel refused to work again tonight  Angry  I spent an hour and half reinstalling drivers, re-flashing the firmware etc and just could not get it to configure in P&G nor AC. Its now going to have to go back to Fanatec by looks of things. Ive always avoided doing firmware updates to it in case something like this happened...and now of course, i'm out of warranty and its fu-bared  Roll Eyes Bloody expensive bit of kit to conk out and now no racing for me for the fore-seeable future  :'( gutted.

Hope you had a good race  :'(

I don't know anything about the Fanatec wheels, but you should check around the web for possible solutions to the problem. Good luck, I hope it is not terminal.

Cheers Walt, let's hope so, read horror stories of Fanatec taking 1-2 months to return wheels  Sad

I was turning the air blue last night trying anything and everything to get it working in time for the race. Much to my utter annoyance I re flashed it this morning and it worked fine in p&g  taz but no saying it will work when I fire up the PC tonight.

No post race posts. Huh Did it go ahead? If not can we re-run it at a later date?

It did, but with 6 drivers starting, and 4 only went the distance.

What little practice i had turned out to be on the wrong track (like most ppl i think?), but even with such a low turnout i had a very good and fun battle with Swifty..

Congrats Geoff for the win.

Sad Looks like it could be worth to think about rejoining UKPnG from
time to time in order to fight for last place  Roll Eyes

Such a shame !

Congrats Geoff for the win.

Cheers, a good 1-2 for the Kerbies, just a shame there were so few competitors, the Capri was real good fun on this track. I think all leagues are suffering from a lack of numbers, the usual summer lull I guess plus the footie. Hopefully it will improve again in the autumn.

Jeez that is shockingly low numbers though  Sad  easy points for those that were able to attend! Good job I wasn't plugged into teamspeak with all the swearing I was doing in a hot room trying to get my controllers working. Think ive sorted it now, fingers crossed but meant i've missed two races this week, both with great car/track combos.

Wasn't at home for the race and now I think that it would be better if I stayed at home, had a nice race here than go to bed.

I`am still pissed off because of way how we lost.  Angry

I confess to being embarrassed about collecting points for this race  Undecided.

I was so far off the pace that I had to move over for a 2CV to pass around lap 3!!  It says on the race result "unkown" as reason for disco, well I can tell you it was sheer frustration at not being able to hook up a single lap at even reasonable pace!!

I took the Capri thinking that maybe with less power it might be easier on the tyres, and a little more "driveable". Well with the setup I was using that was wrong on both counts  lol

So once I had been easily lapped by the whole field I parked it. Sad

nil desprandum...always the next race  Wink
