Just a few more ideas, but nothing that actually fixes the problem... You could use the lite65 option instead of full65 in GEM+. Maybe try using a lower resolution version of the track? You could reduce the screen resolution to 640X480 in the game.

To me this cod4 seems to have manipulated the OGL driver versions! Just try to erase all ATI grapic drivers from your system. First set your graphics to the default Windows drivers. Restart and use a prog like " Display Driver Uninstaller" to make shure nothing is left of ATI graphics drivers, restart and install an actual ATI CCC full package for your card and make shure it contains the OGL drivers.

Hi did as you said Cookie uninstall all with your prog, apart from this part did not know how (First set your graphics to the default Windows drivers), windows restarts and seems to auto install video driver look at properties/devices/display/driver/details version 8.620.0.0 also in task bar have red ATI icon, Try GPl set to opengl v2 in GEM .... it WORKS .... 35-36 fps even when pass pits, have res set to 1680x1050. Thanks Cookie and Walter for your help.

IF IF IF IF... but even if I hadn't have popped the engine early on; I just could not keep up with you two! Phew! hot in here! Was fun. Cheers all, Dave.

Good race Rog and Congratulations; season 26 amateurs champion and race winner! I found a little extra speed in Qualifying using the draft and low fuel. I set a pretty good lap time, and then popped the engine on the very next lap. So I made 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears slightly higher for the race. I started between the two championship contenders, Rog and Dave C.. I was able to stay ahead of Dave at the start; so there was not much excitement. I had fun chasing Rog for the entire race. I watched the engine temp very closely during the race. All was good, and I was set to push harder in the closing laps. The draft was very strong, but the straight was just not long enough. I did not see any passing opportunities in the corners either. I'll just have to wait for the next race to try again! Good race everyone, Walter Silverstone was a good suggestion, if you choose to do a fun race. The big question for me will be on the car choice. The Ferrari has been very good to me this season. I don't think that I could be happier with another car. Although, I see the BRM as a challenge, and I might give it a test.

Congratulations to Rog on his championship win, there was some great driving. Rog and Walter were the class of the field. Further back I had a great race with Billy and Dave- I even had 3rd for a short while, really good fun. Nice to see Boggy too. Thank you all for a great season.

Cracking quallifying pace by Rog, Walt & Dave. Not seen those sort of times in previous Novs races at Watkins Glen. Had a long extended battle with Johnny who is probably due a faster car next season.
Well done Rog - a fine performance to clich the Ams Championship. Have to settle for my share of the team championship.
Probably one of the best season's I've had in GPL in terms of a competitive field & some great racing. Unless I have forgotten there have been barely any incidents all season - perhaps a lesson for other series?

Congrats to everyone who took part this season especially Rog for taking the championship. Came to this race very rusty used last seasons setup but couldn't get near the same time and cooked the tyres early on. Will try to be at Silverstone and looking forward to next season

Of course, from looking at the qualifying positions & the end of race positions - they are very very similar! Kind of suggests we all pulled away in turn; followed each other in an orderly fashion without any exciting moments & Boggy/Bernie swapped positions (maybe related to early retirement?) But it was all a bit more exciting than that! Congrats again Rog; you rounded off the championship in style. Grrr

Don't forget now! As this was mentioned in 65Am thread, is this 65 or 67F1, or something else...? Cheers, Dave.
