Escort again for this one, 1:47.900 so far and I actually find it less of a handfull than the Capri here too Smiley

So am I going to be trampled into the dust, how fast are people here?

It looks like I'll have time to join later - hopefully as this is the only 76 race I can make.

Probably take the 914 out for a spin....... managed a 1'44 in it at the weekend ago but that was on light fuel, but I reckon it can race in the 1'45  to 46 range.

Think I might try that funny looking Porsche 906 thing. Not done a full lap in it yet so should be an interesting learning exercise.

That's the last time I look on the Rank and use it as a yardstick to judge good lap time by Smiley

I actually felt quite good about that Escort time when I looked on there.

Drive in the afternoon  Tongue (12:00-14:00 won't give a low sun), or reduce the graphics to directx 7, might give less sunflare.

Things can only get better than last nights race. I thought the porsche 906 was a nice stable car but fck me under braking for 1st corner and the big down hill stop near end of lap had me spinning like the noob i am becomming!! lol Hope this goes better tonight cause i am really starting to struggle..........

How much set ups changes are you dudes making? i have been doing gear ratios, fuel and tyre pressures only. Any help would be gratefully received as i am beginning to not enjoy this. I can get a mid grid pos in qualifying but in GTL and GTR my race pace is pathetic............ Angry

Plz Freaking help  Shocked

Normally I only change gear ratios and reduce sterring lock. However, for Imola & Mondello I moved the brake balance forward a couple %, increased the coast diff and reduced the brake pressure a bit to help with the tricky downhill braking sections. Stops me from locking up so easily.

The correct procedure is brake-swear, not swear-brake.
