Still trying to figure out if the TR4 is a curse or a blessing! Haven't tried the TR4A yet. And I didn't realise that the TR5 was in there either! How come we haven't used that one? Is it greatly different to the TR4? Apart from being +1

And I didn't realise that the TR5 was in there either! How come we haven't used that one? Is it greatly different to the TR4? Apart from being +1 You need to get your glasses out Clive, it is the TRS not the TR5. The TRS was built to race at Le Mans in 1960 & 61 & was based on the TR3 & fitted with a 2-litre DOHC engine, called the 'Sabrina', hence the 'S'. The car in P&G is actually incorrect shapewise, as it looks like a TR4. If you Google the Triumph TRS, you will see that (to my mind anyway) it looks more like a Sunbeam Alpine. Triumph made a film about their Le Mans adventure with the cars, you can view it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGfQOLFHgYE

As far as I know (which is not very far) in P&G they are all the same pace.

I am a fan of the Triumph cars. The hardtop triumph is tempting because I've never used it before, and it was slightly faster than group B cars when I tested them ages ago on a different track.

So far I have been faster in the open topped, TR4A, job but that may just be that I tried that one second. I must go back to the TR4 and see what happens. The first corner is critical to a good lap and you have to be very smooth to stop the things from lifting the inside rear wheel and losing all the drive! On the server, I was quite close to Federico's times with the Lotus but I imagine that the Lotus will be kinder to its tyres and thus a better bet in the race!

Hi guys, I would be asking for a clarification; is possible to pic a TR4A I am reading it such that both the TR4 and TR4A are allowed. I think that Matt would have commented on my first post if the TR4A were not to be available.

Unless someone can say otherwise, I believe all the TRxx are the same car with different paint jobs/skins If one is faster, fine, as that is supposed to be the faster car anyway, and the Top 3 can't use it. 1965 Triumph TR4:

The difference between TR4 and TR4A in real life is in the suspension. TR4A uses an independent rear suspension (IRS) as opposed to a straight axle on the TR4. In P&G it’s not modelled in though. As far as I know, all TR4/TR4A/TRS models use the same suspension settings in P&G. Hope this helps

Yes they all seem to have the independent rear.
@Matt Does that mean that the TR"S" can be used also?
