My race turned bad when I had to stop early for fuel > for those of you who thought “where did he find that speed?” in the early laps, that’s the answer Wink  Then I made some noob faults:

Noob fault 1: I overshoot my pits
Noob fault 2: speeding in the pits
Noob fault 3: out of fuel after having to take a stop/go penalty  Roll Eyes

Hope I can make a better effort next race…

Yes, I did wonder where you went SuperSwift..

Despite the low turnout and early retiremants I was enjoying the battle with the 914s of Geoffers and SS, but after SSwift retired and Geoffers spun I was left on my own. I had the supersoft tyres and was going to change them at half distance, but to stop boredom setting in I decided to change that strategy and planned to go through to the end on the tryres, and with just a quick splash and dash near the end. Screwed that up though by getting the settings wrong in haste on the pitboard, and ended up putting a new set of rain tyres on the rear..!

Made no odds though because I too got black flagged for pit lane speeding. Guess it helps if you do some practice.

Congrats to the podium.

My tyres on the GT40 were ok for about 7 laps then suddenly I was 3 seconds a lap down.  Even Geoffers in his roller skate was catching me!  Sad

I think that Team7 must have access to tyres with grippy canvas!  Or perhaps Federico and Giuseppe are just good at driving cars that have no grip.  Sad

LOL!! Do not blame Clive, next time we have to use the bathtub I'll send you a setup  boat
However, it is also a matter of driving style, for example, I've used less rubber then Federico ... but he was faster  ninja

For the choice of the car I think as Clive, at every track I try to find the fastest car.
However, in addition to the GT40, there are other fast cars that we can use in LM, 275S, Pantera, cobra427 which we never used but might be okay in a straight line  thumbup1
