Well I ballsed that up nicely..   Cheesy

Couldn't get through the fastish downhill lefthanders without losing the backend. With time running out before race start I dialled out some of the front end bite to improve the balance - this got me through those lefthanders, but now I had nasty understeer elsewhere. This bit me hard in the race as I understeered off several times, once going so far off track I got a stop/go penalty (trying to find my pit spot turned into quite an adventure too..).

A few more offs later on left me even further behind. After the event I went back for a little more practice and realised I was braking way too late for those downhill corners - revising that and going back to my usual drifty Alpine setup was so much better. Ah well.

Congrats podium.

Thanks Clive

Well, apart from the Mini and why anyone in their right mind would choose one of those is a complete mystery!

Chortle  Grin I liked it, I am never going to win against such vaulted company, so I usually take whatever appeals.
I would have like to have been able to battle with my GTL sparring partner Evil CLive, but I had some fun with MJ and Legzy
before they quit.

But Geoffers was going very slowly down the finishing straight and I reached the line in third spot?

Not sure what Geoffers was up to because I certainly didn't feel that he owed me anything.  I must have a look at the replay.  (Just watched the replay and can only think that Geoffers got a phone call or was laughing so much at my antics that he forgot what he was doing!   Grin )

Well I had an attack of guilt Clive, (what was I thinking!). I had given you a few small bumps during the race which lost you ground to Giuseppe & without those you would probably have given Giuseppe more to think about & not pushed so hard on the last lap & spun out. So I thought it only fair to give the place back.

Anyway was a really enjoyable race & a great battle with Giuseppe & Clive. Definitely worth the entrance fee!

Congrats to Federico (awesome pace as usual), Giuseppe & Clive.  clap clap clap

Won't be here for next weeks race, so cya all at Gedinne (an awesome track)

Well thanks Geoffers, most appreciated.  Although I wouldn't want to have to explain that to Ron Dennis!

Great race last night, I enjoyed a lot with Clive and Geoffer.
To be able to stay ahead of those two I did my best  sweatdrop with my bouncy castle LOL !!  tank
I'm sorry that Clive went to spin the penultimate corner, maybe he could pass me  yes
Congratulations to Geoffers for fair play  thumbup2
These are the races that give me satisfaction, I do not care to finish first, for me is the close and loyal battle that puts the pepper to the races  punk
I hope the next is so beautiful  thumbup1

Thanks all for fun, ciao
