What format would drivers like to see in season 21?

Cars, tracks, race lengths etc.

I did rather enjoy having pit stops again in season 20.

I'd like to see pitstops again for one of the series. It introduces a nice bit uncertainty and strategy to races! I also used enjoy variable weather but I know it wasn't popular with everyone.  Roll Eyes

Could we also consider using the Jap GT cars again?

pit stops get a thumbs up from me as well Smiley

getting the GT500's out again also gets a thumbs up from me Smiley

I have also got some other ideas for the next season, I will write another message when I get some spare time over the next day or so

Oh yes, Super GTs. Good idea.

I have also been considering GT3s on shorter tracks. We have not used the GT3s for a long time now.

Here are my ideas for the new season:

An endurance style GT1 championship consisting of races with pitstops at the following tracks:

Sebring, Daytona, Silverstone, Spa, Montreal, Interlagos, Suzuka, Le Mans

and a lower championship (GT500's) (maybe with pitstops?) at:

Hungaroring, Barbagallo raceway, Okoyama, Portimao, Sandown, Donington, Slovakia Ring, Moscow Ring

Smiley  gt3 sounds cool.....  Tracks don't matter.... I do miss the changeable weather too...... pit stops are always great maybe make it so we pit 2 times per race....

So, I now think we should do SGT and GT3 for season 21. I reckon 40 minute races with dry weather and one of the series should have pit stops. Does that sound good?

Any more SGT track suggestions and suggestions for suitable tracks for the GT3 class? I would like to keep the GT3s on shorter tracks.

sounds good to me H@L, just done a few laps practice in the SGT Nissan GTR for tomorrows race, these cars are awesome to drive and they sound great as well. Have you had a chance to look into the new circuits yet (Slovakia Ring and Moscow ring)? if so will we be trying them out before the season starts?

I know it might blasphemy but it might be worth looking at some of the PnG oriented tracks. the last GT3 race certainly felt more interesting on a track not normally used by modern machinery.

I would also vote for the using oran park, but not sure if it exists for GTR2!

Think you can have Oran Park in both directions.   Grin

And certainly agree with you that the old tracks, not festooned with chicanes, are way better than modern offerings.

Just sorry that I can't support your GTR2 races but a) Sunday isn't good for me, b) I tend to have to concentrate on just one sim at a time to get any pace and c) my poor little brain can't come to terms with the missing lateral g-force in the modern cars on sticky boots!  Much more at home with old cars on cardboard tyres.  Grin

This is my current plan for Season 21:

GT3
  18th Jan - Oran Park
  1st Feb - Bathurst
  15th Feb - Cadwell Park
  1st March - Lime Rock
  15th March - Goodwood
  29th March - Ahvenisto

SGT
  25th Jan - Sebring
  8th Feb - Silverstone
  22nd Feb - Spa
  8th March - Albert Park
  22nd March - Suzuka
  5th April - Portimao

Sound good?

This will give us one more fun race before season 21 begins.
