Notes:
(1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
(2) You will not be able to join the server without the car physics pack and track (see links above).
(3) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(4) Please use the Driver Details page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).

IMPORTANT NOTE - There is an issue with the server at the moment.

If you can not connect then you need to install the new version of the Super GT mod even though it is not being used for this race.

I have discovered the issue too late to sort it out before the race. It will be sorted before next Sundays race although I do intend to run the Super GT mod some time soon. You can download the mod and its most recent patch here:

Top left corner of the page. The 452MB download is the mod and the 192MB download is the patch for the mod.

Install the mod first and the patch second.

Install Instructions

  -To install the Super GT mod, first download the 2 .rar files and extract them to a temporary location using separate folders for each .rar
  -Next, go to the temporary folder you made for the patch (the 452MB file) and right click on the 'Gamedata' folder
  -Select 'Copy' from the drop down menu
  -Go to your GTR2 install folder so you see the folders Gamedata, Moviefiles, Music etc
  -Right click and choose 'Paste' from the drop down menu
  -Windows will ask you to 'confirm folder replace', choose 'yes'
  -Next do the same copy and paste options with the gamedata folder from the mod patch (the 192MB file)
  -It will ask to confirm folder replace again
  -Windows will then ask for confirmation of overwriting existing files, choose copy and replace and select the tick box in the bottom left to apply changes to all files
  -Windows will then ask to confirm folder replace again, tick the box in the bottom left 'do this for all current items'
  -Click yes

Do check the super GT mod anyway as we will be using it soon if all goes well.

The race has been rescheduled for 26th Oct.

Picnic will get the server back into the condition it was in before I messed it up. You will not need the Super GT mod to connect once it is sorted.

good race, nice track with few opportunities to look for a pass meant I just did my best to sit on Apex's bumper & hope he'd make a mistake. An intense race was the result & I was lucky enough to get my way in the end
