It's BST which is currently 1 hour behind German time. Just google "time in UK" to check the difference.
[/quote]

Hi
I think "BST" is "British Summer Time". So it´s clear for me. 20:00 BST = 21:00 German local time and it will be 19:00 UTC or called Zulutime as well. Cheesy... however.

Thanks.

As Castle Combe is only about 15 miles from where I live I felt that I should uphold local honour here!  Grin

But, I was totally outclassed in race 1 when John and Jose were awesomely quick, and in Race 2 Flash and Hayman along with Jose were setting some serious pacein the early laps.

I might have disgraced myself on the rear of Matts TVR??  Huh I'm not sure if I nudged you Matt, as I felt nothing in my Elan, but the way that your TVR screwed around out of Camp Corner has me worried. Put in a report and I will wear the sackcloth and ashes for a few weeks if I am guilty.

Erling more than matched me for pace during the race and I was lucky to keep ahead of him over the line. Great dice between our Elans mate  Grin

Maybe I have 2 x 3rd spots....(maybe not if I did indeed push Matt's TVR.)

There was contact CLive, I was already sideways, may or may not have spun, but your tap took the doubt away  Roll Eyes
Not worth a report, I was likely to have been passed anyway.

Well those were two very different races.

Race 1, I was beaten off the line by Jose. Managed to sneak up the inside at Quarry and held on to the lead without any dramas until the end.

Race 2, I couldn’t hear the little Lotus at the start with all the noise from the TVRs, consequently lost it shifting up to second and pirouetted gracefully onto the grass Grin Watched the whole field go past before re-joining at the back. Started making up places, but then got collected by a sideways TVR (Bill?) and picked up some damage. The car was a bit wonky after that, but not too bad. Managed fifth at the flag, but would like to have had another lap to have a go at the battling pair of Clive & Erling. Good fun though.

That was a nice track for both cars.

Qualified 4th in the first race and held that position after the start.  Tried unsuccessfully to keep up with the lead group, but then Clive spun (at Old Paddock Bend ?), handing me 3rd.

Tried to make the most of the 7-sec gap back to him, but after a few laps it became clear he was catching me. Screwed up at Quarry, almost spinning, but just recovering by nearly coming to a standstill. Handed him 5 secs for free that way.  When he was right behind me, I was unsure if he would attempt a move up the inside at Folly, and thus missed my 'tuck in' point.  You could get away with that in the Elan, but not the TVR. I thus ran wide onto the grass, making it all too easy for Clive to pass.  Couldn't quite match his pace and had to settle for 4th.  Do wish I hadn't lost the 5 secs at Quarry, as he was only 3 secs ahead at the finish..  Wink

Race 2 I was somewhat down the field.  Ahead, Matt & Clive were battling.  Kept cheering for Matt to keep at him, whenever it looked like Clive was about to get away - I really needed them to slow each other down..  Wink   Happened when they touched - Matt spun off, Clive lost momentum, and I sailed past.  That was the start of a very close duel with Clive, that lasted to the finish.  More equal than the TVR battle of race 1, we swapped places 4 times.  Regrettably, Clive was in front when the race ended..   Could conceivably have passed him on the last lap, if I had played my cards differently.  He lost speed at Old Paddock Bend, but I was too close to steer around his car and had to slow down myself. censored

Grats to the podium though, and welcome to the new faces - nice with such a large grid  yes

Cheers,
Erling

Really enjoyed those two races and for once it seemed like I had a setup that worked well. In both races I managed to pull away with the lead group, like some sought of poor relation, hanging on looking for scraps. In the first race Flash appeared to be using an illegal nitrous device because he just roared through the field, he was taking seconds out of my lead every lap, awesome. In the second race I was just close enough to see Clive and Erlings battle but too far away to join in. I really should watch the replays as I'm sure I had some good racing with others but my memory sucks.  wacko
Next one is at Goodwood, possibly my favourite circuit of them all; It's the track I choose to test GTL content for future seasons. Hope we get a nice fat grid like last night's.
