Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

Ooooh, Dodge Challenger; my favorite Yank Tank, ever since seeing 'Vanishing Point' the first time.  Hope it doesn't drive like the Charger... Cheesy

Cheers,

So many cars, so little time  Undecided  But if it is anything like last season it should be fun  Wink

Thanks for letting me drive with you guys I really enjoyed it. Much of my race was spent with a few seconds gap in front and behind so a nice quiet introduction to UKGTL on line which suited me. Disappointed to see Tony disco at the start though.

I wasn't as far off the pace regarding lap times as I thought I would be, so well pleased on that side of things. A spin, a quick "Hello" with the Armco and finally running out of fuel were the only times I actually lost places during the race. Had I not under filled the tank I would have at least only been 1 lap behind.

One thing I definitely do need help with is set up's, running default set up obviously doesn't quite cut it in this company.

Mondays are not a good night for me but having made the plunge I do want to try to make it whenever I can during 2016 if that's ok.

Thanks again.

Hi Tony,
 Yes I do have XD installed but I'm still trying to work out exactly how/if I can configure it to my liking. For example. Is there anyway of colour coding the drivers so you can see if the person behind is lapping or contesting the position? (A bit like Pribluda in GPL for those familiar with it). The GUI showing general car health seems quite straight forward but trying to read the driver list and do the math to determine if I need to let the driver behind through or fight for the position is a bit too much for me at my current level of expertise.

I hope I kept out of the leaders way, I dived for the edge of the track when I saw them coming and didn't see any carnage as a result.
