Race1I drove the TVR. I think I was not cautious enough in T2 as I had to adjust my line into T3 slightly due to what was going on around me and the back stepped out. I recovered it but the loss of momentum put me in harm’s way and I got the inevitable tap that span me onto the grass. I rejoined plumb last with the race disappearing into the distance but had fun chasing and passing some Lotuses. I had left myself too much to do to compete with any of the fit TVR’s and just did not have the speed so in the end finished sixth.
Race2The Lotus was nice to drive, the only problem was it felt like I still had the brakes on, I was lapping about a second a lap slower than I was in offline practice a couple of days previously. Maybe it was the result of the Golf Competition I played in the morning or the Christmas Lunch and the wine I had afterwards. The fastest drivers certainly got these cars to go very well. Good fun but I felt rather lonely in finishing a slow but steady seventh.
