Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 19

Track: East London (Prince George Circuit) Download this

Cars allowed: Aston Martin DBR1 Download this, Jaguar D-Type (1955 version only) Download this, Mercedes 300SL (LM55) Download this, Austin Healey 100 Download this

Drivers are reminded that they are limited to only three drives with each make. Check your status HERE

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (26 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

 Wink

I had to shuffle some races around to give a bit more variety during the last quarter of this season. Looks like I need to do more work  Roll Eyes

In answer to your question this is for next Monday night (7th).

Geez sucks to be you as the last guy always on.  LOL  No if it becomes that crowded I for one will boot myself.  As a short time SROUK member, I'll give my spot to a driver running for season points.  Going to give the old AH 100 a run on this track........Blink your lights when you lap me please....and I will get out of your way!!

Tony, try this one. I believe the track layout is identical but it can handle 36 cars.

Good spot Geoffers, thank you. But looking at past round attendance figures I don't think we will have a problem. I know for a fact that several regulars are away for this'n.

Nice gesture Bob but I'm hoping that no-one will miss out. BTW I'm hoping to take the Healey as well so look forward to our duel.

So we're staying with the original track Tony, or should I download the alternative suggested by Geoffers ?

Cheers,
Erling

I would like to stay with the original track as a)I doubt we'll need more than 19 grid slots, and b) I won't be able to test the track for errors e.g. start lights work correctly, pitting works correctly, no rogue cut warnings etc etc. I think Saturday morning will be my first chance to test the alternative track and I feel that that is too late to change tracks.

Finally got some practice time in last nite, kids and grandkids went to a movie.  Labor day holiday weekend here in the states.  They are all leaving for home Monday  morning so should be good to race.  Anyway am running mostly 136's, had a few high 135's in the Austin 100 all in race trim and fuel.  Seems to me the AI are even crazier on this track.  LM55 cars are the worst!!!!  If you can make it through the first lap, then they string out and you can pick them off.

Up to now I'm in the 1:39 in the Healey with standard settings  Huh
Have to play around to find a suitable setup.
I hope there's still some space left for improvement  Roll Eyes
