How do you manage to run GTL at that resolution Erling? IIRC my highest option in the GTL config is 1920x1080. Is the maximum determined by the GPU or the monitor, or both?

Possibly the monitor, or maybe just your desktop resolution - I'm 99.9% sure I have selected it in GTL config, but let me check when I get home tonight.

Cheers,
Erling

Just checked and I can indeed select it in GTL Config:

It probably scales the maximum resolution after the desktop settings. (I haven't wanted to set my resolution down just to check, in case it screws up my font sizes, icon placements etc..  Smiley)

Thanks for looking Erling. I think it's my monitor that has a native resolution of 1920x1080 according to the specs. And Windows doesn't show any values higher than that in the resolution list.

What monitor do you use and how old is it?

Yes, I believe Windows knows the native resolution of modern monitors, and thus won't let you choose higher resolutions than they're capable of.

My monitor is an Eizo SX2762W - 27" as the name suggests.  Thought I had had it for two years, but checked and realised I got it in 2011.  Damn how time flies..  Shocked

Yes it was bloody expensive - a bit over my pain threshold to be honest Shocked   Tried justifying it with all the hours spent staring at it, but still..

Surprised the price hasn't fallen over the years - it's actually risen a little.  Got it from the UK btw, as I could save about £100 compared to the lowest price in Denmark.

Lol, if only that was part of its feature set  Smiley   Not a gaming oriented monitor btw, and probably too slow in response time for hardcore FPS gamers, but works well enough for the limited gaming I do.

Sadly that's probably true for me as well  Smiley
