I will have to give this one a miss. My G17 gear change is malfunctioning. Probably just as well to miss it as I am short on practice. Nice track though. Hope all enjoy their race.

Bad luck for me - crashed twice in the opening stages of the race at exactly the same place. After the first one I was able to return to the pits and got the car repaired and went on with 0%. One lap later I crashed again for good Disappointing finish of a great championship. Thanks to Tony and all the others involved for organizing this series.

Superd race. had some good battles with Ati and Geoff, managed to get past both for a while, then lost the back end and spun letting Geoff back through, was slowly catching him, but ran out of laps, might have won if I had allowed for tyre wear, and hadn't taken 90litres of fuel.... My xd is not working, dunno why it's there but i get no display so am driving on guesswork
Great pace from Ati in the Aston, and Geoffers who got the best and then some out of the Healey.

hi
funny race for me. at start did not hear engine of mercerdes, was wondering, that so much passed me.then saw, i geared to 4th gear, but that one wasn´t really in. tz tz tz so from the back thru the crowd. good action. in last lap it looked, as if i could get coyote, was very close but, not enough. this finish seperated us to 3 (coyote) and 4 (me) in final standings tz tz tz
it was a fine legaue with those great cars. thanks all for fair racing and special thanks to TONY for seting up all.
greets hayman

Results and replay now posted. Remember if you want to race this track again next season you need to vote for it hereUnfortunately Roguk took an illegal car so I'm going to drop him one place.

That was a great track for the finale of a great series Knocked a massive amount off my pb in qual, but still only good enough for 5th in this distinguished company.. Had dreaded my first start with a clutch pedal - practice had shown that it was anything but easy to get off the line with it, and I really feared I would forget to move my foot to the brake pedal after the start. Went better than expected though, and I actually gained a place - although that was more through Hayman's troubles, than by my prowess with the clutch.. Lead group disappeared in a real hurry, and I was left to myself, to fend for my 4th place. Very slowly extended the gap to pursuing cars to about 5 secs. In the 2nd half of the race, as my tyres wore, the gap started to dwindle though. At some point, a message that Ati had left meant that my 4th had become 3rd - and even more of a dangling carrot to the pack behind me. Could see it was an Aston, when the car appeared in my mirror, but didn't know who the driver was until he got close enough for the tags to show up. Turned out to be Bob, which was bad news, as he's normally stability personified. Determined that this time, he would NOT get my position through a stupid mistake from me, and would do my outmost to stay ahead to the finish. With a few laps left, a Merc appeared in my mirror too. Could that be my saviour, keeping Bob occupied, or did it mean even bigger problems ? Turned out to be the latter, in the form of Hayman, quickly getting past Bob. Could I possibly stay ahead for the remaining 1½ laps ? Concentrated very hard on keeping my lines through the corners as tight as possible, so as not to give him any opportunities to slip past on the inside. Succeeded in this - only just, as I crossed the line a mere 1/10 of a sec ahead of him Grats to Geoffers & Matt on 1st & 2nd, and grats to Jose & Hayman on 2nd & 3rd in the Championship Matt: Regarding XD not being visible; there's a button that turns its displays on and off - on my keyboard, it's one of the left side keys; either Tab or '½'. Could be you've accidentally hit it at some point; it happens to me once in a while. Cheers, Erling

Race started well for me and I was expecting great things. Had some good early racing with Bob and Roger but at about half race distance my tyres seemed to turn to jelly and the car became impossible to control through those off camber bends. I think I had setup the car too soft and once the tyres let go my race was over so retired early. Still stayed on to watch the battle between Matts Merc and Geoffers little Healey which was an epic David v Goliath contest, well driven Gents.

grats to Erling, Jose and Hayman on collecting the silverware and enjoying the champagne. Not the season I had hoped for in these great cars. I seem to have lost my way a little in setups and driving... Real life has dictated that off line practice time is almost non existent, so I turn up at the new tracks with a setup that did not quite work from the last race and basically drive on a wing and a prayer with much elbow exercising and swearing. It usually ends in a cloud of rubber smoke and foliage. Thanks to Tony for a truly iconic race series, even if I did screw up at most tracks!! I intend to retire from full time labour at the end of Jan, so if Santa delivers the goods in 4 weeks time I might have a "proper" PC and the time to get my act together. Unless of course my dear wife has other ideas.................

Had a pretty good night set a number of PBs initially fighting to stay ahead of Clive before he passed me into a corner where we both knew he was yards faster than me. After that I amused myself winding up pace until I had a nasty, causing a suspension failure meaning a slow drive to the pits and an almost 4 min pit stop. Still I finished the race still running, benefiting from others misfortunes.

Two early driving errors for me. The first involved shunting Clive from behind , very sorry it was you Clive and it was only right to let you retake me further down the track. With just a damaged headlight I then continued towards my next mishap, with an armco barrier, that stopped the car in its tracks. The engine incredibly was ok but the trail of smoke down the straights thereafter told me something was going to give, and it did on lap 10. Suspension failure officially, but black smoke from under the bonnet suggested engine failure (my first ever so quite exciting). I was actually hoping for a full-blown fire, just to finish off my season properly Congrats to you, Erling, for a Championship victory and thumbs up for the choice of track, Tony , a track that gets my vote for reappearing next year.

Definitely one of the better track IMHO. Thanks Erling, I thought I had tried all the keys, but perhaps not. I could have done with XD in practice, as if I had known the rears were to go off as they did, I could have given it a bit more rear grip, it didn't seem to make much difference how I set the car up, it could be quick into or out of the bends, I just went for something that felt balanced. Didn't see why ATi left Geoffers and I managed a cheeky pass up the inside in the uphill fast turn 4 from the end, and he was still in the mirrors for awhile after that. had a great time dicing with Geoff in the Healey, he could carry more speed through most of the bends, where I could leave him at the end of the 1st straight once I had broken his tow (not broken his toe) but then the rear wear caught me out over a brow, and I went 360 for a few seconds was gradually reeling him in but was not enough laps, or perhaps tyre left to catch. Really enjoyable race. and a good series, Thanks Tony.

+1 for the excellent track, had a great flow to it. Was intending to test all the cars before this race but only had time to try the Healey & the D-type. The Healey was 3s faster so went with that. Got a good start but Ati's Aston powered past well before the end of the straight to take the lead. Then followed a great battle between Ati, Matt & myself for several laps. I got ahead of Ati a couple of times but late in the lap, & the Aston was too quick on the straight to stay there. Matt also got past me before Ati made a mistake & let us both through. Soon it was just Matt & me as Ati disappeared somewhere, & we had some really close racing for the remainder of the race. At one point I made a couple of mistakes on one lap & Matt opened up a 2s lead which I was unable to close until he had a quick spin which allowed me through. Matt was a bit quicker & he closed the gap little but I was able to hold onto the lead until the flag. Great fun Matt & Ati, really enjoyed it. Congrats to Erling on winning the championship & thanks to Tony for organising.

Great cars Great Track all made a Great race, first half trying to keep up with Tony and Bob then watching as Hayman caught me and passed, last laps chasing Bob and managed a pass on final lap. Corner before banked turn was evil in the Merc had to crawl round it.
Grats to Geoffers on win
Grats to Podium
Grats to Erling on winning the championship
