Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (34 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Nice selection of cars Tony!

Here is a read up on the Datsun 240Z used in this IMSA series:

Great article. I don't know if this car (#47) is included in the GTL pack or not. Have to check that out.

Well, it looks this site has some more nice articles on cars you selected Tony. Maybe not down to the exact car and numbers, but it gives a nice insite!
Have a look:

We hope to be using this http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=41867 in this series to replace the standard pork 914.

An installer will be created in due course.

EDIT: Installer now available.

Did a few laps with both versions at Goodwood. Very smooth ride - strange to say that
I'm 2 seconds faster in the 914/4 than in the 914/6 Huh

Tony, race specs mentions a limit of two drives per make, but there are 10 races, 5 cars, but only 4 makes (2 cars are Porsches).

I take it it's two drives per car instead, so we have to use all of them ?

Cheers,
Erling

Your quite correct Erling. It should read two drives per car, as the car roster shows. I'll revise the wording.

Ah sorry, I hadn't looked at the roster - that would have answered my question.

Just wondered......

How does Tony select a group of cars, from all of the hundreds available within GTL, that are at least close in performance. Surely you don't actually test the cars to discover their relevant pace?  Or is there a secret code that indicates which cars are similar.

Maybe it is just a wealth of experience?

Hmmm, I have the answer to this but it's on my home PC. I'll provide an answer tonight.
