Hi, new track, new car for me ,,,i remembered that there is a gtluk race on monday which Hayman informed me a hour before start. I tried porsche and mazda but find the datsun most easy to drive. But now chance without practice. Good start but mistakes than..guys behind were quicker so i let go... round ten Flash behind he disappered suddenly. I remembered that i forgot to connect via lan cable instead of connecting via dLan which courses problems most the time so i better left the race. Good fun here and i better check cars and tracks earlier in future

Sorry Dario - my antivirus software popped up (new installed over the weekend). Had no control and left the race a part of a second too late. You couldn't avoid to hit me. Great track - great car. Changed some minor things an felt very comfortable. First lap I couldn't avoid to hit Clive (?) in the mess after the chicane but could climb up th 11th (I think). Chasing Misnoimis who seemed to have problems when he suddenly closed the door and we collided . Sorry. Dropped to next to last when waiting and totally lost motivation. Needed some laps to come back in the right mood when my Avira popped up and led to a very frustrating end of race for Dario and me

This will have to be a short report ... that race was so intense it now seems just a blur ! Quali resulted in P1 by just a whisker from Dario's BMW. When we went to race I was stunned to find that I could not see the start lights ... EEEEK, PANIC ! I tried to get going as soon as I saw Dario move but apologies to anyone who had a fright when I was slightly delayed Dario slotted into the lead and we had an epic scrap during the early laps until I managed to squeeze past. I was then able to gradually open up a gap and was settling into a rhythm until I started to catch backmarkers. All was fine until I went past Kurt ... his car was so loud that I could not hear my own engine and although he kindly let me past I had to glance at the rev-counter as I entered T9 into Thunder Valley and had a spin. As I rejoined the track Jose appeared and majestically swept past ... the race was on again . We had an intense duel for many laps until he drifted a touch wide at T2 and I took the opportunity to pass. A few laps later something must have happened to Jose because the gap suddenly opened up to something like 12 sec and so I had an easier final couple of laps to the chequered flag. Awesome racing, guys ... most enjoyable

The race was a complete disaster for me. I was surprised how well the BMW went and was really enjoying the race for about the first half dozen laps when approaching a turn my car went into an unaccountable spin. I re-joined the track but it happened twice more. I realised my G27 peddle unit had twisted sideways on the mat and I guess I was hitting the brakes and accelerator at the same time or something. I tried hooking it straight with my foot but It kept slipping. I pulled onto the grass and straightened it out but it happened again so I pitted, got down on the floor and relocated it closer to me checking the gripper was working. But it felt strange being too close so I stopped again and re-located it but was not able to obtain good grip as the gripper seemed ineffective. By now I was laps behind and the unit was still slipping so I left the race. I had this problem a few weeks ago and thought I had fixed it because it was fine in practice. I guess I will have to move some heavy furniture stood on the mat that is laid over a carpet to be sure of curing the problem for future races as I don’t seem to be light footed enough on the peddles when racing. I left the race because it was a waste of time carrying on and I was just a hazard to other drivers.
Great to see so many taking part. I hope all enjoyed their race and hope to see you next week.

Sorry Dario - my antivirus software popped up (new installed over the weekend). Had no control and left the race a part of a second too late. You couldn't avoid to hit me. It's ok mate, shit happens I did a good quali however my pace in race was not enough to stay with the 911's, i was too focused on my defending lines and made some mistakes. Dropped to third position and after a few laps i was on no one's land, i tried to keep a comfy pace, as tires were showing a bit of wear, in order to keep the gap with Postal. Unfortunately i couldn't avoid Eiffel's Datsun who crashed into the wall ending up in the middle of the track at the long straight, resulting in engine KO for me. Grats to everyone, especially winners, and see you next race!

hi all
first: I saw: in results list: hayman porsche 914...................no, I used 911................. a question to car use: 2 times a car to use only. does that mean, if I use same car in both races of a double race event, I cant use it anymore then? thxs.
race: I had a good quali time, 5th I think. not bad. but in start of race soemthing crashing happend, I found myself in gras, out of that and nearly last place................... I followed Oldegeezer for many laps, really hard to overtake here............and I hit Oldgeezer (sorry mate), now last place, ufff.................. a little challange now, from last place to go, was good fun, in the end 7th
very nice guys and very fair gentlemen driving here. GREAT !
looking forward next race

Sorry, correct Pork now stated in results and car use roster. Yes, if you use the same car in both races of a double race event it counts as two cars used.

It was a different "oldgeezer" It was me who got in your way with my usual "erratic" driving. I was struggling to keep the beemer pointing mostly forward, and sometimes it went sideways unexpectedly, sorry if i was a moving obstacle, but it wasn't on purpose

Sorry folks, had busy time, bumped Clive off and then driving went to pieces - after the third or fourth visit to kitty litter gave up in disgust!

Great race yesterday. 18 drivers in the start line. My problems with the setup continued and did not get a setup neither stable nor fast. Qualy 3rd behind Bill and Dario. The start was bad cause Bill don't start at time and had to dodge and hit him even a little. I also beat me. But in the long straight gain 2 positions and 3rd place again behind Dario and Bill. Soon Bill ahead of Dario and on the next lap I also got it. But Bill was incredible pace and gradually went away. Surprisingly I overtook Bill because I had a problem with Kurt. But the pace of Bill was better than mine and after 10 laps closing doors I made a mistake at T2 and he passed me. I tried to keep up with him again, but it was impossible. Little mistakes and big mistakes and finally 2nd. Very good race Bill. Great comeback Marc to 3rd place. Good job. Thank you all for race! Cheers!
