I like the sound of Mini's v Skoda's. Any chance of revealing which Skoda model, Tony? I guess it will remain under wraps ftb I don't generally reveal the finer details of next seasons series until about December time as things can change. But the 130RS shouldn't be totally ruled out

Mixed emotions for me tonight, but on the whole really enjoyed the evenings challenge Having started last, found myself working through the pack very slowly until reaching and maintaining 4th for quite some time, quite an achievement by my standards. Of course, something unexpected usually crops up and this time it was that little red flashing light catching my attention - fuel. I thought I had filled up with some to spare, but no, and despite changing up sooner, found myself coasting to a standstill with about 500 metres to go, losing 2 places. Well done to the podium and to all those who made it across the line - looking forward to Avus already.

Sorry to miss this one. We got hot and thirsty playing golf to-day and stopped for an extra round of drinks so I missed the start time. I hope to make next weeks race when I’ll be a year older and wiser. Or maybe just a year older….

I wasn't too keen on this track and so I decided to take the Mazda in order to get it out of the way . Practice showed that I could dip into the 2:09s but that was about it so I was expecting a lonely race at the back of the field. Qualifying was about as expected but when the race started I was amazed to find myself circulating behind Erling . As things settled down I found that I was quicker than him through the twisties but his Beemer was faster on the banking. Even if I got into Erling's slipstream and so gained some momentum my poor ol' Mazda ran out of steam when I pulled out to pass and dropped back behind. This cat-and-mouse went on for many laps with Erling sticking to his line through the bendy bits and then me trying to keep up around the oval. It seemed like stalemate until Erling made the tiniest of errors in T1 and I was able to sneak past into T2 . I was able to pull a few tenths per lap and was feeling quietly confident until I noticed that Steve was quickly closing on Erling. When Steve had gained the place I tried to push harder and overcooked it when turning onto the banking. The resulting spin allowed both Steve and Erling to pass . The final few laps saw me trying desperately to close the gap to Erling and, given another 24 laps, I might have succeeded but the chequered flag put and end to that Congrats to Jose, MaiPor and Gregman for the podium places and particular thanks to Erling for an excellent race

Ok, maybe there's something I'm not aware of. When the race ended, I was placed 6th but the chart shows 9th. No worries. Still enjoyed it all

Because I only saw two cars pass me whilst I was stationary before the race ended and with the board confirming I had dropped from 4th to 6th, I assumed that was going to be my finishing position. I don't wish to take up any of your time, but IT discrepancies have always fascinated me. I cannot call up replays here, but if you are able to have a look and let me know what happened that would be great

hi tz tz tz, bad luck 4 me In lap 3 I did not get first turn, I landed behind the right wall, drove along it to get on track again. but then "wrong direction" appeared. ok, I turned in the gras and after having reached the track again: "S+go". ok, to pit, limiter on (jep Tony, it´s now on the stick shifter ) stoped, limiter on again, after green light: "to fast in pitlane". ok, into pit again in next lap, pit in, limiter on, stop, limiter on, pit out green light: "to fast in pitlane". ok, again and for the third time same procedere. oh! yeah! it worked 6 cars 2 laps in front then, 4 cars 1 lap in front. uh! makes me wonder to get place 10. jep, it´s for the survivers, who dont give up! nice fun with you guys here, great and fair driving, hat´s off ! greets hayman

Unfortunately Bill Grewcock drove an illegal choice of car (Mazda RX-3 for a third time) and is consequently disqualified. Sorry Bill
