Thanks guys for the congratulations - it apparently pays off to be the only one to do all races  Smiley   Thanks to Tony for organizing - forgot that in previous post  Embarrassed

Matt: Question about setup.  You state that "I could have given it a bit more rear grip".  This puzzles me; if you could give it more grip, why would you not do it ?  I've seen others post something similar before, and also wondered about it.  Is it because you couldn't give it the same amount of grip in the front, and the car thus would be unbalanced ?

Cheers,
Erling

Yes, that's it. I set front dampers 2/3 and rear dampers 2/3 so more front grip into corners, and more rear out of corners
maybe it was 2/4 not sure without looking, but I could have set it to 4/2 front 4/2 rear to maximise rear grip
into and out of corners. I might not have set front springs to max, and rears to min. I think with the Merc you can't change
diff and maybe not ARb settings, but I could have given it a little more rear grip into corners so less likely to get lift
off oversteer and spin... err like wot I did.

Great fun on that track in these cars.  First quarter of the race  lots of close racing with Tony & Roger.  Probably some great screen shot's of us racing side by side on the big banked sweeper.  Haven't watched the replay yet.  Then Tony scuffed the wall in T1 and split us up.  Set off to chase down the Coyote, would gain a little and then loose it.  About L16 my rear tires went completely away, no forward drive at all, spun out and then Hayman passed me.  Next lap Roger got me also.
Congrats to the series champ and thanks to Tony for organizing the series.
Off to learn this Brno,  will drive the Fer 375 Plus, gotta give them all a try.....
