This was a great event that should be repeated as a series over 2015.  Many thanks to Geoffers and Gamers Crib for putting it on.

However, it needs to be run on circuits that do not provide a large degree of discretion with regard to track limits.  I also think that it will need to be moderated with a firm hand.

I enjoyed both races.  In the first one it seemed that no matter how many people were on the grid, I was always going to end up scrapping with Geoffers!  Weedmaster came at me in the closing stages but, thankfully, my Cobra was more than a match for his Lotus on the straights.

I was not doing so well in the second race and found, at the end of the race, that I had a couple of extra laps of fuel onboard.   Angry

Good fun throughout.

I agree, it makes all the difference in the world, when the grid is filled up.

I incidentally tapped a Capri in the second race, I think it was Lade. I'm sorry, and I hope your car wasn't damaged.

Brilliant!!!

First race was a disaster but race 2 was fun all the way through. I made a grotty start and then got shuffled back to 14th thanks to the widest Pantera in the world. I got my head down though and made it back to 8th and was catching "Postal" hand over first at the end....just needed another lap for 7th.

Yeah, agree on the series thing. That was good racing, may I suggest a limited number of each available car per team each race to keep the grid varied too? Or would that discourage people?

Race one was interesting as I joined too late to qualify and had to fight my way up from the back of the grid, Turns out it was Casper I rear ended in the opening lap - Sorry about that if you see this  Embarrassed
Fairly pleased to battle my way up to 8th by the end, I had a setup that really seemed to work in the Cobra.

For race 2 I qualified well but got swamped at the start due to getting caught up behind the 2 cars ahead on the grid - I was then unlucky enough to be punted off by Postal when I had to break mid corner to avoid (EvilClive?) and found myself dead last for a second race running  Roll Eyes
Was good fun again manhandling the IROC back up to 10th on cross-plies, the handling was sublime once I got to grips with it - I have no doubt I could have been a second or 2 quicker had I spent some actual time on it  Smiley

Dan made a glorious start to Race 1 and is seen here leading the field towards Les Combes.

There were more cars than this, at the back of the field, but I don't see all of them on my replay.

I will look into it. I'm fairly new to doing this server stuff so it may take a little time!  Roll Eyes
