How to install the Super GT mod V3.3

It is wise but not necessary to make a new install of GTR2 and put the SuperGt mod on that new install. To make a new install just copy an existing gtr2 install and paste it on your C:\ drive. Find the 'GTR2' folder, right click on it and choose 'copy'. You can paste it directly to the C:\ drive or make a new folder and paste it there. Once you have decided where you want to put the copy of GTR2 simply right click on some empty space in the desired folder/drive and choose 'paste'.

  You can get the mod in parts from nogrip, but you will have to wait for some time between being able to download each part. I think its 24 hours between each 100MB downloaded.

Install
  -To install the Super GT mod, first download the 2 .rar files and extract them to a temporary location using separate folders for each .rar
  -Next, go to the temporary folder you made for the mod (the 452MB file) and right click on the 'Gamedata' folder
  -Select 'Copy' from the drop down menu
  -Go to your GTR2 install folder so you see the folders Gamedata, Moviefiles, Music etc
  -Right click and choose 'Paste' from the drop down menu
  -Windows will ask you to 'confirm folder replace', choose 'yes'
  -Next do the same copy and paste options with the gamedata folder from the mod patch (the 192MB file)
  -It will ask to confirm folder replace again
  -Windows will then ask for confirmation of overwriting existing files, choose copy and replace and select the tick box in the bottom left to apply changes to all files
  -Windows will then ask to confirm folder replace again, tick the box in the bottom left 'do this for all current items'
  -Click yes
  Windows 8 users may have less prompts regarding overwriting files.

It says the Mod is V3.3 & the Patch is only v3.0

Legzy, I've installed the mod and update tonight and it seems to work ok. Done a few laps on the server. Without the update I was unable to select any of the cars.

Yes that is a bit confusing. Its patch version 3.0 for the mod version 3.3.

They did the mod, version 3.3 then released some patches. patch v1.0 for mod version 3.3, then patch version 2.0 for mod version 3.3 and then patch version 3.0 for mod version 3.3.
