Apologize to goldtop for the tap on the first lap, missed my braking point on a crowdy track, sorry. Sad
Let all pass and started from the back, nice tussle was developing with Mr. Mark Beszant(?) when I lost control of my wheel. No response, car went into the wall, scraped, sand, everything. I heard throttle on full, couldn't stop the thing, Esc didn't work, nothing. Lips Sealed Did Alt-Tab to shut the thing down and got control again. What could cause this? Didn't have (to my knowledge) any program updating or some such. Sad

Car was awfuly damaged, pitted, missed my pitbox the first time Roll Eyes, limped around again, repaired, joined, drove. No use, I guess. Didn't race anyone so I could quit just as well. Undecided

Not a good start to my first AC Championship. Was it the same in GTR2?  Wink

Very much enjoy the race, loved the little battles diving up the inside and pushing harder even got my best ever lap.

Sorry to SleeperService, A blue 458 lost it down the straight think I caught the side of yours going hard in to the bend 1st or 2nd lap

Rock on to the next race!! good night guys

OMG ive got a sweat-on now!

Sounds like either an app or a controller doing that TT. I had it for a while in early days  of AC but not seen it for ages.

What a great race that turned out to be  Smiley I've been off sick with man flu and a chest infection and really thought I'd struggle again tonight like I did last Thursday. Had done little practise as coughing fits prevented any concentration.
Qualified a decent 5th or 6th.
Race start I got mugged by about 3 cars as I thought we had standing starts! Rules keep changing  Roll Eyes but I prefer standing by far.
Kept my nose clean and got up the inside of Simon to hog the racing line at T2, then out braked spanner at the next corner. Then a couple of guys span off at the hairpin and I was 4th and motoring after Erik  Smiley
Stayed 4th a long while then DA was off on a Tarmac apron and I was 3rd!
GOldtop caught me eventually and chased me very hard for quite a few laps and I was feeling the heat but he suddenly dropped back 5 secs as I assume he took to the gravel at the very fast t1. It was the breather I needed until I got the low fuel warning so did a fair bit of coasting and early gear changes for last couple of laps.
Finished a fine 3rd for a Fezza podium  Cool
Great race with good grid of fine looking cars  Smiley

Darren had visitors, so he had to bail.

It was a good challenge with Lux chasing me. As soon as I saw him come closer, I put all my focus into a good lap and fortunately for me he made to many mistakes. I even improved my pb laptimes.

Nice race that. Made a good start and was battling it out for 2nd/3rd with Lux (I think) until TT missed his braking point and tapped me off....np btw. Lost a few places and had that silly windscreen shatterthing which I thought I'd got rid of  Roll Eyes

Had a nice chase back and a great battle with MJ but just couldn't get a decent run to grab 3rd. Eventually clipped a kerb on the inside of T2 which resulted in a high speed spin  Shocked Fortunately no harm done and I was able to resume unscathed.

Grats to Erik and podies  Cool Being the winner Erik, if you'd like to choose a Ferrari for us to race at Monza next week be my guest  Smiley Just shout up and I'll do the rest.

Hope to do the Champ table at Lunchtime today. Can I get clarification of which Mar is Mark Jonzo and who is ani?

errr sorry to muck the race/championship organisers about but Chris Thorpe = Sutol. I forgot to alter my profile from Sunday's Core Racing event (where real names are preferred I think).

I had an incident with Paul in the first sector of one of the early laps. I think we were 3 abreast going into the corner after the first straight. none of us were yielding so there was going to be some contact. Unfortunately I ended up slamming into the Armco and sustaining suspension damage which took an absolute age to fix in pits. I eventually got back on track (thanks for the encouragement Mark) and hopefully managed to gleen some valuable championship points.

I really do try to stay out of trouble but it seems the more I try the more I attract it!!

Thx for the race guys, see you at the next.

Sorry to spanner as I followed him on lap 2 I was just inches behind through the flat out esses and his car slowed (braked?) and I had no chance to react and sent him spinning. Second part of the esses is flat out so really was not expecting a slow down, but there you go, poo happens. Sad

I like the 312T, but we already drove that one here on Monza and there are some who don't like the open wheelers I think. So I would suggest the LaFerrari, as I never raced that one before.
@Luka if you're going to do liveries again, yes I would like one please  Grin
