I like the 312T, but we already drove that one here on Monza and there are some who don't like the open wheelers I think.
I love open wheelers, but I hate the 70s F1 cars as they drive like someone reversed the laws of physics. Early F1 downforce was not pretty.

Miserable night for me.
First time back on track for a few weeks. Didn't bother with quali, just used the time to run on race fuel and tweak the setup a touch. Got off the line ok and made a few places as early incidents took their toll. Went from 12th or so to 7th at the end of Lap 1. Saw Shark and Spanner having their incident in the fast chicane after S/F and thought " Oooh - another two places gained" but as I approached the next RHander I was starting to back off as I wasn't sure where Sharks car was going and ended up having to make a nasty correction to avoid thumping him just as I leant on the brake pedal. My car veered left straight into the wall which destroyed the front LH side, steering was at a silly angle and the car wouldn't turn right. No worries about the coming together Mark B, my car was finished anyway. There was no point trying to get back to the pits so I bailed.
Hoping for better luck next time.

Grats to Erik and podies Being the winner Erik, if you'd like to choose a Ferrari for us to race at Monza next week be my guest Just shout up and I'll do the rest. I like the 312T, but we already drove that one here on Monza and there are some who don't like the open wheelers I think. So I would suggest the LaFerrari, as I never raced that one before. @Luka if you're going to do liveries again, yes I would like one please Thanks Erik, LaFerrari it is I've only driven it very briefly so look forward to trying to tame it. I'll get the race announcement sorted by the weekend.

Sorry to spanner as I followed him on lap 2 I was just inches behind through the flat out esses and his car slowed (braked?) and I had no chance to react and sent him spinning. Second part of the esses is flat out so really was not expecting a slow down, but there you go, poo happens. Looks like i misjudged the entry speed, carried too much speed, maybe caught the small grass/ gravel section on the inside and felt it dig in. Didnt think it slowed quite that much, but trying to get the right turn in point& speed is difficult. Fun fight back up the field though. Allways a fan of single seaters but i guess the modern one in AC would probably turn most people off.

GT, any chance of telling us which Monza track you will be planning to use?

It's the modern layout Tony. Not really a fan of the 60's circuit unless of course it's with a suitably period car.

Maybe next time we can have another close race as that could have been fun I think. How come everyone is so bad at the starts? Every race I just gain so many positions. My start is nothing special... 1) Full throttle 2) Squeeze up shift whilst lights are on. 3) As soon as lights go out squeeze the extra bit to engage the shifter and bam. 4) Depends on the car, but general still have my foot flat on the floor. Hopefully they will implement starting in 1st with the clutch in before it's released, but I won't hold my breath.

Does flashing lights work? Not at home with this sim yet, tried flashing but saw nothing from inside. Or should we engage The Horn?

You can turn lights on an off, but you can barely see them as they don't project onto the road (and I don't believe that is a feature they have any plans to implement, along with day/night and weather).
I like the horn, very funny, but not sure it works in multiplayer does it? Have to test it next time.

Is the flashing of lights visible in rear mirror then? What's the use of them if not?
