Does this only happen when online? If so I would suspect your internet hardware is suspect. Do you turn off your internet security when racing online? Most can be paused whilst racing then turned back on afterwards.

Hi Tony ... happens off line as well.

Happened with the Austin Healy 100s also and this car is not in the LM55 folder, BUT problem is only when the Fifties cars are used.

*Perhaps* I have found the solution  thumbup1

At ABB went wrong at Beez 67, here on UKGTL it went wrong at Goodwood...& again yesterday at ABB in the race at Suzuka  Sad

Download this small application - it eliminates all things from NVIDIA.
DDU_v13.6.0.0

When it has removed all NVIDIA drivers, it restarts. I installed the latest again (347.09)
Notice: NVIDIA GeForce before 400 series does not support 347.09, but 340.52.

Whether it's a 100% solution...next race will tell whistling

Edit: Oops, error in link  shifty

I have problems with PC freezing - could this be due to drivers I know I had problems before but I thought I'd carefully avoided upgrading NVidia drivers.

It's worth a try...and it's free  Grin

Regardless, I would recommend you use the most recent driver you will find here after you have used the little clean-up program.

Very interesting, Pelle. Thanks.

Fortunately I never had problems with my 7 years old machine
using an old Geforce 9600GT and still runnung Windows XP  Roll Eyes
(Windows is only left for online racing - working and surfing with
Linux Mint 17)

The problem is of course not only here at UKGTL, but for everyone. It seems like nvidia drivers have got headaches after numerous updates & old stuff is not removed.
There were many at ABB at Suzuka which got the same problem...and I've already gotten feedback from DFAlex:

Hi Pelle,
 it works!

Hope we have solved the problem  Cool

Edit: Tried program on the other PC - maybe it is random - here was the hard drive very active...it is not now.

Great  thumbup1

...... but I'm still not completely satisfied. In my first race after using this little program...I was only number 2  :'(

Joking aside, it was a pleasure to finally be able to complete a race Again  Cheesy
