1965 Mod – 50th Anniversary Cup – Enna Pergusa

Round 4 & we are back in Italy at Enna Pergusa or the Mediterranean Grand Prix. A short fast course where you won’t need the low gears or much brake pedal.

The series is open to anyone who wishes to enter. To keep things simple we will run on one grid – if you turn up late you might be disappointed.

We will use the 60fpsV2newmod for the whole of the mini-series.

Please restrict chat to pit messages including at the end of the race until ALL drivers still racing have crossed the line.

The race will be run under INT rules. A maximum of one reset is allowed, followed by a compulsory stop and go in the pits. Reported incidents will be moderated (in accordance with UKGPL rules) there is no “red zone” moderation.

65 Patch: The 2.02 Release of the 65mod can and should be used. You need a working installation of the 65 mod to install the 2.02 Update.

2 servers / 2 grids tonight. Pros can drive anything they like on UKGPL9. Ams should join UKGPL8.
Pro drivers are requested not to use the Lotus, Ferrari, BRM or BT11.
Pro drivers are not prohibited from using the faster cars but they won't score championship points if they do.

Points will be awarded according to the original 1965 system, 9 points for the winner, 6 for second, 4 for third, 3 for fourth, 2 for fifth & 1 for sixth.
The Pros & Ams are being scored separately.

Race List = IGOR
Server = UKGPL_8
IP address = TBA
Race date = Sunday 18-01-2015
Time = 21:00 UK time (21:00 GMT)
Track = Enna
Race length = 32 50 laps
Variant = 1965
Damage Model = Intermediate
Qualifying time = minimum of 30 minutes
Replay = you will get here

I do expect a more than full grid for tonight, so it would be nice to have a second server  Wink

There is only one? It should have a track folder name of enna

Thanks for that revised lap count, BNB.  I thought that fully 50 laps would be a bit of a stretch.

Strange ! My GPL track ini shows 2

Autodromo de Pergusa (Enna)

Gran Premio del Mediteranian (Enna)

Checked myGPL/tracks folder and as you say there is only 1 Enna in there , a bit confusing but as long as we are all at the same Enna who gives a sod what its called  Roll Eyes

Thanks  Smiley

Yay! Thanks to Eurotunnel, I am now back in for both tonight and Tuesday :-)

Need to get some practice in - it sounds like 2 servers again - are we going for separate ones for Pros and Ams (meaning I can take whatever I like)? Firing up the Honda in the meantime...

I know Billy wants only one grid, but I do remember the F2 race...

We may split the drivers in those who brake for Zagaria and those who don't  Roll Eyes

Hmm . . . . doing Wacky Racer times?  I didn't see a Dick Darstardly whilst there, but did notice a Lotus badge painted over with white,  and a patch or two of greenery as it passed by the scenery. Tongue

No problem running 2 grids - as long as we have 2 servers.

Ams should join UKGPL9 - any car you like

Pros should join UKGPL8 - any car you like.

@Billy: think we swapped it round for this one (should be a great test of 9), so Pros are on UKGPL9, Ams are on UKGPL8.
