Contradictions seem to be a part of modern Ukgpl.

Stopping for an injured party after bumping, had been frowned on, as it can cause trouble  I hit someone waiting around a blind bend recently ( Opatija ) because a Moderator said it's Ok.  And chat has always been banned during races, but available for emergency messages only?  Now a Moderator says it's Ok, and switch off chat if it's a problem.

Two bad ideas hoping to replace two good ones.  Could we have a ruling on these, to prevent arguments further down the road please? Kiss

Where did I say that chatting is OK? I said in a previous post one can submit an incident, then it will be dealt with...turning off in car chat does not equal allowing chatting in the race.

The other issue, it is clear in the rules. We (in UKGPL) do not wait for a victim after rearending, as it can cause dangerous situations.

So, there is no contradiction, only in your mind. Wink

Our head Moderator got into my mind regarding shunt waiting, and I don't believe switching chat off has been recommended until now. euro
