Mmmm well, i don't agree with you MJ. I liked this combo very much! I think i like any track where we can run these kind of cars hihihi..

Maybe it was because i actually had time to do some practice for once and had dialed the car in so it would behave itself. True it is a bit of a twisty track for these powerfull machines, but still i had a blast around Charade.
My start was ok, tried to stay out of trouble. Was running 5th when i got some pressure from Clive. After a couple of laps looking at my rearbumper he forced his way through entering T2. I didn't like it, but i could appreciate it. Tongue
From then on i was putting in solid laps and was happy with my race pace. Maybe i was feeling too comfy as on lap 13 i hit the throttle maybe a bit to hard exiting the penultimate turn. It started a slide and i decided i would just hit the brakes let it come to a hold and blast off again. Only when i hit the brakes it just turned into the armco and killed the engine! What a shame, finally a good race but no result to show for.

Matt, as far as i am concerned you can take MJ's suggestion. Grin I am sure it will be great too!

MJ is right that we should use Dijon some time, and I will. Problem for me is that I wanted to use these cars
somewhere that there would not be too massive a performance gap, and at somewhere like Dijon there would have been
too much of a power difference. I think I must have used a less powerful variant in testing, because I thought
they drove well here. My choice for the race seemed to be wanting to swap ends into and out of corners all the time.

Sorry about that Postal, as it was my third or fourth attempt I thought that you would have known where I was by then.  You seemed to be having problems on the brakes.  You might have been better to claim the inside line earlier on, as there was no way that I could go around the outside and out of the corners you had the car with the extra grunt.

On the final occasion, we contacted front wheel to front wheel, at the apex of the corner, but I appreciate that you wouldn't have actually seen me until we contacted.  I find the PnG mirrors much more difficult to judge things by than the old GPL version.

I was so busy looking in my mirrors to see what had happened that I went gardening a couple of corners further on.

Maybe not relevant, but some of the CSLs have abs, some don't. I think most (but not all) the 24v cars have it, but none of the 12v cars do.

No worries Clive. Your move was ok and i don't mind we had a little contact. It was more that i noticed you on the inside at the very last moment indeed. I was cartwheeled onto the grass, other than that it was no problem. It was certainly more entertaining then running on your own the whole race!

Hello everyone Cheesy,
tried a couple of days with BMW 12V that was more honest with the tires Huh.
Tuesday I tried the BMW 24v honestly was fine but with the averages of 2-01 times Huh.
The day of the race within the BMW 24v begin to run with the full back to the pits I realize that you can go out and dorms BMW IMSA Shocked return with BMW IMSA load a setup of Solitude put in place the gearbox and tires and soft start too late to turn end practice begins the qualification Undecided.

I remove the gasoline and I can do a good qualifying lap Grin. (I remain in awe when I see times johnw "Big" Shocked).

By competing with Soft Huh, good start but I plan for the first round (thanks for not letting me Geoffers buffered at the first turn angel).

At around 10 I realize that the soft tires wear out and lose grip off the track Angry and I come from a past Geoffers (Congratulations). I think to make the pit but eventually I'm holding and arrival 2nd Smiley.

Congratulations to all, good race and congratulations to Geoffers johnw soon I passed clap I Am Not Worthy.

Hello to the next Grin.

Bit surprised to win this one. I like the IMSA CSL but was never quite happy with the setup for this track, even though the car is supposed to have ABS I was locking the brakes into corners.  Huh

Made a mess of the start, changed into 2nd too early & spun up the tyres & got a bit crossed-up. Sorry to John if I impeded you a bit. Fede was away into the distance & Dan nipped into 2nd place, only to lose it at the first chicane. Settled into 2nd with Fede pulling away in front & Frex & John fighting over 3rd. As the race went on I had settled for 2nd, but suddenly Fede spun & I just got by at the bottom of the hill. Was expecting him to fight back, but he seemed to be having trouble getting off the turns & I quickly pulled away to a fairly comfortable win  Shocked

Congrats to Fede & John (remarkable pace in the 12v)  clap clap

Grats to Geoffers, Federico and John.

I seem to be having issues with my FTP thingy and can't post an analyser report.  But I don't think that anyone looks at them anyway!  Grin
