Oh the joys of invisible walls...

Clattered one on the inside of T1 and picked up suspension damage - bad.
Left the track on the inside at the fast right-hander in the middle sector, would have spun but bounced off one and returned to the track - good.

Would be nice to see them, all the same.

For some reason the inporter had lost the total race time for Geoffers, so put him after others who had
retired, but had a race time. I have adjusted the results now. I need to sort the points yet,

OK cheers Matt. I didn't have a total race time as I never crossed the finish line, I was the wrong side of the bank with no fuel!

@Evilclive...

Great read ! What a way to start my Friday morning. Thanks.

@Whoevercarestoread

I'd rather not discuss my race, my new Granddad status has certainly slowed down my pace. After a few laps I couldn't help laughing seeing the hopeless lines I was driving which on the bright side shows there can be fun in anything we do.

On to the next event....

Others who dropped out had final time though, only Geofers didn't for some reason  Huh

I remember the glass walls now, the only one I have ever hit is on the outside of Dibeni
You must have been well off the track to find the one in T1  Shocked
There is a later version of the track, but it doesn't seem as nice so I did the historic one.

Jeeesszzz!! I am racing granddads nowadays?! And still losing! Should look for another hobby i guess.
SeniorDan; congratulations and enjoy your time with the grandkid!

Well the race wasn't that good. I was on a business trip a couple of days and although i was back in time for the race i had no practice at all.
Jumped in the Ford and tried to find some pace during qually. It took me until a couple of laps into the race to find the lines and some pace.
At the start i was happy to chase the pack and was hoping to get involved in some battles here and there. The lack of practice and a bit too extreme of a setup had me spinning and hit a invisible wall. Restarted and continued with a little crooked car. With the race pace so close there was no chance of getting back in the mix,
but had my fun sliding the little Escort around Pembry.

Yeah, got the corner entry all wrong and was all four wheels off track. Didn't think it was that far off, certainly got a surprise though!
