Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 0

Only one reported incident : during red zone, Fabio went out of the track on a difficult braking point, and when he came back on the track there was a "contact" due to the crashbox with Walter.

It is just a racing incident but you always had to be very cautious when you came back on the track.

No other incident on red zone, no other reported incident and no shift-R used.

This championship should be very interesting with several quick and experimented drivers.

Please restrict chat to pit messages including at the end of the race until ALL drivers still racing have crossed the line.

First race in the 65s for a while.  I've never been good in these things and I really struggled tonight.  Hopefully I didn't get in anyone's way.  Grats to the podium.

Congrats all finishers! I had fun in qually and in race. Turn 3* on first lap was too close for comfort. I'm sorry if I caused any problems for the Ferrari (Fabio?), or for anyone following me into to turn 2 on first lap. Good race, but I had the dreaded screen freeze in turn 1 with six laps to go. Looking forward to next one!

*Congrats Kai on your first win at UKGPL!

Gents, the results have been imported but a name was flagged up in the import that I don't recognise. Who is Steve Peake also known as? Billy and I possibly thought fester, but would be nice to know to match up properly. Smiley

We wondered what happened to you Walter , tough luck , my screen flickered a few times giving me a worry on a couple of occasions . Still one mans bad luck is anothers good fortune  Grin

No doubt you will be back wit ha vengeance !

Good racing with Billy Rog and Dave for a while until Billy got fed up with fooling around  pushed the nitro button and disappeared into the sunset leaving some of us trailing in the dust and others sliding around on his oil slick !

Nice track once you get the hang of things , looking forward to the next bash  Smiley

Good race & entertaining track. Couldn't hook it up in qually so went back to an older set up for the race. Good racing in a train with Rog & Bernie & no way past until Bernie ran a bit wide. DC fast Lotus was on my tail for a bit & probably would have passed me but for a mistake.
Walt & Kai were far away. Bad luck on Walt's connection but it gave me P2.  Congrats to Kai on the win.  Special mention to Phil for battling with real gears I will stick with the flappy paddles.

The link for the replay in the announcement takes me to season 27, but I was able to navigate my way to season 28 easy enough

*I just checked the replay for Turn 3 Cocobana on first lap. It does appear that my crash box bumps Fabio very lightly.   Embarrassed  So I will be watching for the moderator's report to find out if I will receive a penalty.

Thanks Billy Smiley.  Being lapped by the entire field was sobering.  My aim is to get back to the times I could do with LFB, hopefully well before the end of the season Roll Eyes

Gratuliere Kai on your first UKGPL win! Smiley

PS: much respect to Phil changing to RFB...it must be hard and frustrating not having the pace you used to have, but I'm sure you will get there!

Yes. I'm Steve Peake. This was the first race of my second UKGPL comeback. My first comeback lasted eight races before I was invalided out of Season 23. I only set my wheel up for the first time since then a couple of weeks ago and I could only drive for fifteen minutes before back ache set in. I signed up as a reserve because I didn't think I'd be able to last a race length. I was wrong

I was amazed to qualify second. It was false position but I made a terrible start anyway and three people went by before T1 where I repeated the same stupid mistake I made in my very first race with three pedals and used the clutch as a brake. Fortunately this time I didn't take anyone else out with me. I enjoyed the rest of the race. I had several spins but was always racing someone. Apologies to Rog if I hit you. All I can tell from the replay is that it was very close but no harm was done.

Congratulations to Kai on your first UKGPL win. And to Billy and Bernie. Commiserations to Walter. I hope to see you all at Monaco.

Thank you Clive. Good to see you doing so well in UKPnG. You're an inspiration to me.  Smiley

I returned to simracing expecting to be slower but after two hours practice I was running 0.5s/lap faster than last time out at East London six years ago. It's probably just this mod and this track but if I can maintain this rate of improvement I should be running at the front by the time I'm ninety.
