My time with the Merc is 2:02.5, in the Alfa 2:00.4 and 2:02.3 in the BMW.

Out of curiosity, what did you expect AC to be?

Can't say really, I don't feel the car the way I did in GTR2. Also, these new cars feel like toys. I want epic things like supercars on Road America while nowaday cars are GT3s. No rain, no night, bad rear mirror view - I'm not able to do close racing.

i understand what you mean about no rain, no night and the bad rear view but the F11 mirror does offer much better views, did you know you can actually change the mirror FOV now in one of the ini's? this might improve things for you.

as for feeling the cars, i dont know what game your playing but i feel everything pretty much, what wheel have you got?

can you post your windows controller settings and your in game controller settings and i will see if you have something wrong. also have you got fix view to horizon on or off? you want it off.

Had to reinstall AC, seems like some old mods / tracks were objecting. Lost my wheel settings, maybe it's for the best, lol, now I can start new.

TT, the 1.1 update made some mods obsolete so yes, best to just remove them if you get any error messages.
Don't forget the PLP app.

Hmm, only 11 runners tonight, that's less than the first round  I had 4 guys from Kunos saying they wanted to race but only Tam Zak turned up (cheers bud!). Thought this would be a popular series.

Turned up with zero practise and a borrowed setup sadly but had done plenty of GrpA E30 praccy here so was hoping to be competitive.
Had unusual stutter troubles during qually so couldn't get any flow going.

Got a good start and made up a couple of places to 5th or 6th. Had a good battle with GTs great looking Merc For many laps albeit my car wasn't dialled in as I'd like it and I felt guilty I may be holding him up in some sections only to blast away in others.
By lap 10 my mediums were shot at 95% and I started dropping 3 secs a lap, making me an easy pass for MarkB and GT  then just to compound my misery the car ran out of blinking petrol on the final corner   
Despite me short shifting the final 2 laps!
Doh!

Ok there might be a very valid excuse but if your car's still going, stay in the race. If everyone were to adopt the attitude that a spin meant that the race wasn't worth continuing with, then we wouldn't have a race most nights.
