I managed a 2:05 something with race fuel in the SLS and I just don't have the energy to try out all cars, so I'll stick with Merc for the rest of this series.
I saw a Jeffrey Ruskus on my server doing a 2:02.6 with the GTR and that is with the same grip settings we will do the race.

Wow - haven't heard anything about good old Jeff for ages, how's he doing? Still as quick as ever I see. You should persuade him to come back and race with us Smiley

I don't know him and I only know his lap time, because I saw that in my server window Wink but he's welcome to join.

Shame, if you see him again put a good word in. He'll give you alien types a really good run for your money.

Hello guys,

I am new to Assetto Corsa and raced on iRacing about a year ago. I'm pretty inexperienced but managed to race cleanly there and quickly got out of Rookie league (because I was safe rather than fast).

I'd like to join you all for the race tomorrow if that's okay?

Hm, actually I've not actually driven any of the GT3 cars yet (Only the BMW E30) so perhaps I should practice in career mode for a few weeks first!

All clean racers are more than welcome, I tend to tootle around near the back of the field myself and just keep an eye on the mirror for when the old lapery starts Wink

Few days ago I thought, I wonder if SRou is still alive. I saw you guys hosted AC events, which for me is the only race sim at the moment. Haven't done a league race in years, because I basically quit, but I'm curious how AC holds up in a league based event.
Went on the server for the grip settings, as I have no idea how I can set those in practice. But if all goes well, I should make it for the race tomorrow Smiley. And hopefully do the other events as well, as long as work permits Lips Sealed .

I quickly tried all 4 cars, and if somebody is interested, here is my view of them.

SLS: Super forgiving, almost impossible to spin. Feels a bit like a boat, but with enough grunt.
McLaren: Basically the Red Bull F1 of a few years back. Eternal grip but lacks power. To make this work, you need to nail the corners.
BMW: Bit of both, good handling and power, but on a knife edge. Not very forgiving.
Nissan: Lots of power, but heavy. Very tricky at corner exit, rear end always tries to break away.

Welcome back Jeff  Smiley. And nice to see you here too Conure, welcome onboard. Don't worry about your pace to start with, that will come in time, just drive at your own pace and enjoy.

Not sure I can make tomorrow's race yet, will try but not had time for practise.  Sad

I will try and make it tonight, sorry missed the last few due to other commitments and clearly no commitment from me. Grin

I'm thinking of trying the Nissan for a change as I race the SLS at ESRA and want to try something new. I will do no practice of course, but it's a car, it's got 4 wheels, some brakes and an accelerator pedal, what else do I need to know!

Hello Mr Ruskus, good to see you again.
