Looking at the RSR times and what I did just now a 0:57 lap with the Merc, I would say 32 laps for the race would do it.

This track was released after we'd started the DTM season, but seems an obvious choice! From my testing it seems to be have quite a few overtaking places, more than I was expecting to be honest, and it ran pretty well on my rig with a GTX460 so should have good performance for most/all of you. This also seems like a good time to point to the DRIVING STANDARDS here - this race is likely to have a lot of close racing and, with it being a street track, very little in the way of runoffs. Any small incidents, especially at the start, could easily result in a much larger incident as the drivers behind take evasive action - so be careful.

Practice server up, note there are only 17 pit boxes so there is a small chance we'll hit this limit if all the old and new guys race this week.
2nd word of warning, don't go straight on at T1 (the hairpin). You don't get stopped by the scenery and fall in to a void where your speed can never reach 0, so you can't escape back to the pits.

Had my first go of this track briefly last night and found it surprisingly tricky for a flat place. Getting the braking right and corner exits will be key here.

I will skip this one. I find the track just too horrible to drive (layout and bad conversion)

Crept into the 59's with 30L, after some impromptu on the spot driver coaching from Chris, merci beaucoup but still more time to find.

Well it started good enough, with a nice beginning with Simon. After getting free from Simon, I was hoping my tyre choice would help reel in Pete. Chris was out of reach, so I was only focused on getting picnic. The tyre (hard) choice looked to be just the right one to get picnic and I was finally on his tail in turn one slightly over mid race. He was slightly held up by a back marker who helped me catch him, but unfortunately the same back marker misjudged the braking point of me and slammed into me. After that it was just cruising to get to the finish line in third. Grats Chris with the win and Pete for second.

Bad luck Erik, I wondered where you suddenly disappeared to Was moaning with Spanner on TeamSpeak before and during warmup at how bad the Alfa was and how I was never going to finish 1 lap let alone a race distance! Can't believe I then clicked with the place and to qual and finish 2nd was very unexpected. Managed to keep Chris in view until we caught the back markers, a couple of scruffy laps from me and he was out of sight, not that I was ever going to catch him but it's always nice to see the car in front My laps times were dropping off towards the end and I was struggling to be consistent in to T1 so I'm sure you'd have got passed at some stage Erik.
