That was great fun! I was soaked in sweat by the end of it  sweatdrop

Never raced this car before so was learning on the job and my pace increased throughout the sessions and even the race.
Race started cagily with several cars playing bumper cars on lap 1 but I got thru it with a few bumps on my bumper. Got as high as 4th early on but I let the pressure of a chasing Bob and Erik get to me and made my only mistake of the eve out-breaking myself at t2  Roll Eyes
Rejoining 6th behind them I then had great fun chasing Bob for the rest of the race, with nothing between us in pace for lap after lap, superb   Cool Bob kept his cool despite all the pressure, so I finished a decent 5th after Luka got himself a cutting stop&go.
Happy with that.  Smiley

Grin  Amazed to find myself 4th on the grid at the start, just tried to keep out of trouble for the first few laps, at one stage being in second after Chris and Erik had  a moment at turn 2. Didn't take long for normal service to resume, back to 5th behind Luka with MarkJ close behind. Luka went off on turn 2 leaving me in 4th with MarkJ  close behind.  Lap after lap with nothing separating us, I'd gain a little in one part and loose it in another. One mistake would have been the difference but neither of us made one I think both of us put in personal best laps during the scrap. Just manage to hold the position to the line, great racing MarkJ I was dripping in sweat at the finish. The top 3 were in a league of their own but this was one brilliant combo. Cheers Bob.

I hadnt done a lap of practise before the race, i had a great tussle with eric in the qualify session.. It was great!

Then race came and i seemed to lag out for a second when the lights went green. Had a nice tussle for a lap before braking too late and knocking eric off.. I still think that was my fault mate, so appologies again.

Then had to fight back tgrough the field until luka made a mistake and then it was just chasing down berger..

I wish i would of spent more time there, there was soo much time for me to gain i just couldnt keep consistant enough to really push for it, 1/2 way roubd i turned traction control off and had some nice moments.. Lol

Good fun last night. Kept improving my time in quali and with 2/1000 difference, I pipped Chris to get P1. Right from the get go, Chris was on me and it would've been inevitable, for me to keep my place. No worries khris, I still say it was not your fault. I was a bit late on the brakes myself and with down shifting, instead of go into 3rd, it went to 2nd gear. The car slowed down so much that you could not avoid me. Glad you managed to get p1 in the end. I just saw a lot of cars so took the scenic route, until it was clear for me to get going again. Good fun to move up the grid again and taking 3rd spot on the podium. I do like the car and a shame it's only for 3 races  Grin

Forgot to apologise to Mark, my wheels weren't straight on the grid which caused the strange trajectory off the line?Huh

Wondered what happened on the start line! No probs.

13 drivers was a good start for round 1, let's build the momentum with some publicity  Smiley it's a popular car and makes for close racing, so why not.

Sorry, would have raced but I didn't get to my computer until about 8:17 at which point the booking process would prevent me from joining. As it was ridiculously hot that day too it was probably for the best anyway.  Cheesy
