Why do we use PLP, if all I see is that it's being ignored?
I personally think it's a load of rubbish anyway. It gives you penalties when you make a mistake and run off the track wide somewhere and then it doesn't give you penalties when cutting chicanes so the very core of the thing doesn't work. Also doesn't seem to have the ability to autpmatically boot people from the server for ignoring penalties either and I don't suppose the LM2i system takes PLP into account when processing the results does it?

The main thing I don't like about it is that it simply doesn't seem to detect real track cutting which is the whole point.

Good fun, cheers.

Got hit in the hairpin of lap 1 for no reason but was able to ctach it, still lost the spot.
Woulda expected that guy to wait but he then spun himself out a lap later... smart guy Wink

Nice to see some new faces and an enjoyable race for me until the 3rd part when my dashboard fell off and I lost concentration with no-one to race. Started 4th, finished 4th, not bad against strong opposition.

You should be joining us Pete! Great track this, very well modded  Cool, looks real, and a good set of cars to race on it. Fuel appears fine too  Wink
It's not just the fuel it's also the fact the game keeps crashing on me.

I thought that was a great race, full of action and one of the best car/track combos I've raced on in AC  Cool
Great to see new faces too, not sure if they saw the ad on Kunos or Chris invited them but good to see anyway, welcome onboard guys  Smiley
Qually was fiercely tight! I was chasing 6th place for most of the sesh, set my fastest lap (1.29) in the last seconds and still dropped to 8th!
Race was close and fast for first 10 laps then spread out more for last half but I had soneone to chase for most of it and kept my nose clean, finishing 7th.....although, two guys ahead got stop and go penalties in the last 3 laps so I do believe my final position may be 5th? (I assume we are going to enforce them, tracks like Donington need the cutting app or people just abuse it).

Some quick guys up front  Smiley

Dave's sorted the track out but I'm still struggling to import the results. Can Guilherme Cramer and Sven Walther please let me have their forum nicknames as I can't work it out.

I got 1 penalty for cutting the old hairpin (roght hander at the bottom of craner curves) but the other 3 i gpt where from running wide and losing about .5 to 1 second each time so i was just ignoring them.

Yes indeed, track was looking very good and great to race on with these cars. Have done a lot of Donington laps, but that was with Microprose GP500.. angel

Unfortunately a had stutter problems during practice, left to adjust the display setting (reduced AA & AF) but it didn;t seem to help much.
Strangely the previous two online races i joined where running pretty smoothly. Maybe this 3rd party track was a little heavy on my system? Afterwarts i did some more down-tuning and it was running smooth again with an off-line race.
Congrats to the podium and i hope i did not get in the way too much. Looking forward to the next races!

I like the effect on them, bit strange but actually makes look more realistic.

I think it maybe time to change the password and remind people that should never tell anyone the password and instead if people want the password they can be given a link and if they have permissions they will see it and if not they wont.
