..... as I always lose a place or two on the start  Roll Eyes
You need to work on your reaction times, watching the replay you seemed to wait half a sec before starting after everyone else. Spanner did well to avoid you.

I thought i would give the Nissan GTR a go for this race. I didnt get on track until gone 8pm, so only did a few laps practice with the default setup. The car felt horrible, very unstable under braking and very oversteery coming out of corners. Do other GTR racers make any specific changes to the setup? i have tried the BMW & Mclaren with default setups and they seem a lot easier to drive.

LOL, welcome to the world of the Nissan.

Basically it's an absolute beast. It has a lot of oomph, but it is quite difficult to control. As you say it's quite a handful both under braking and acceleration (nice combo Smiley). As I didn't have time to spend ages on the setup last night the only thing I did was lower the power differential one notch, set the wing at 8 and treat the beast with respect (gently gently footwork). I think it could benefit from a few suspension tweaks but essentially its the most difficult car of the 4 to drive imho.

Not a reaction delay as I sit there gunning the throttle waiting to steam off. I think my clutch engagement is a bit pants with my pedals and seems to have got worse in last few races. I also think my 1st gear was one notch too long as this was an adapted monza setup.

Lol at the nismo running wing 8, I was on 4 and still the gtr pulled away dramatically on every straight.  :oCan see why Core left it out of the Gt3 series now albeit I still think slightly slower guys should be allowed to run it to keep the racing close. Almost like a seeding system to keep the racing tight.

I think the Nissan is fine and people are self regulating. I drove the Nissan but it doesn't magically make me a fast guy. Fast guys are fast guys in whatever car they choose. If the fastest guys chose the Nissan they would still be winning, so I don't really see the problem with the Nissan.
