Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 241s

The field approaches the Adelaide hairpin. Greg130 is at the inside of the track and locks up his brakes and runs into the back of Jon Chadwick.

Spudgun is at the outside of the track and is unaware of what is happening next to him. He sees Jon chadwick going by sideways and steers towards the apex of the corner. Greg130 still has his brakes locked up and hits Spudgun. Greg130 can't be held responsible for this contact, there for this part of the incident is a racing incident.

  • greg130 (Greg130)penalty — contact with several drivers on the first lap — 3 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 498s

Maurice Claessen is following Nakano_56 on the straight before Complex du Lycee. He keeps a reasonable distance until they get to the corner. Nakano_56 turns in a bit late and gets hit by Maurice Claessen making him spin off the track. He loses some places because he had to wait for a safe moment to join.

Normally this would be a 2 place penalty but Maurice Claessen took responsibilty for this incident so he drove around the track and did a self-imposed drive through penalty. Therefore the penalty will be reduced to a 0 place penalty.

  • mclaessen (Maurice Claessen)penalty — contact with Nakano_56 — 0 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 940s

Nakano_56 is behind Greg130 when they approach the Adelaide hairpin. Nakano_56 dives to the inside just before they get to the corner, runs a bit wide and hits Greg130.

  • Nakano_56 (nakano_56)penalty — contact with Greg130 — 2 places lost (plus 1 for penalty points)

Server replay time: 1755s

D Boyd laps [Zip]Tyf just after Chateau d'Eau. He then dives to the left side of the track, cutting [Zip]Tyf. There is some contact, but not much. The penalty will be reduced to 1 place lost.

Server replay time: 2139s

Mo is about to be lapped by D Boyd. When they get to Chateau d'Eau it seems like Mo is leaving room to let D Boyd pass. At the exit of the corner D Boyd taps the side of Mo.

Server replay time: 2818s

BMMRZ3Roadster runs offtrack with 2 wheels at the second corner. Upon trying to get back on track again he spins. At the same moment D Boyd comes through the corner and hits BMMRZ3Roadster.

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 3372s

Nakano_56 follows BMMRZ3Roadster closely on the start/finish straight. It looks like BMMRZ3Roadster lifted a little to let Nakano_56 pass. Because Nakano_56 is so close he hits him.

AVG Started to update halfway through and my game froze just before the chicane so appoligies to anyone who was messed up by that.

I learnt my lesson with Virus Checkers when first racing GTR, so I now always turn it off before racing so it doesn't bugger me up with an update half way through.  Smiley

Defantly be turning it of from now on,  Got me propa stessing!

GT boys were superb whilst overtaking, best ever  Cool

Since negative remarks are not allowed please skip these remarks, rofl. Blood still boiling and reading that doesn't really help tbh... If u check last moderator report for Endurance at Barca and look at the replay for this one... I think u will disagree with it as well m8!
We never had such a low standard in last season imo. Well... Muorali... Maybe someone can check to see if his IP is back...

T

Had no probs being lapped , all were patient and used there heads.  Getting lapped by Claus was quite funny he could catch  and pass me  before i could tell what colour his car was .  Cheesy

paid the price for a bad qualifying session ,rammed off at the hairpin on the opening lap  Angry

Yep that was me, applologies couldnt miss you despite being on full brakes and trying to turn onto the grass to avoid you.  Hence the reason I pulled over and let you and Boyde sail past me on the s/f straight a lap latter.

 Embarrassed
The first half of the race was great for me. It all started to go wrong as soon as I went in for my pit stop, My team mates car was sitting in the box being refueled etc. I sat behind for what seemed like an age waiting for his car to be serviced, then decided I couldn't lose anymore time and went back out on track and pitted back in on the next lap. No blame intended for my Teamie as there was nothing that could have been done about that situation, but it must have cost me 30sec plus.
Being really stupid and trying to make up time I started to push beyond my limits which resulted in a few spins and then a stop/go for good measure.(hopefully I will learn from this)
I would also like to say sorry to some of the GT guys (no contact) but I must have scared the shit out of some of you a few times. Thought they did a good job on the whole whilst overtaking (sorry Tyf)
Finished the race in last place which was kind of disappointing after such a good start and all the effort put in to race for 80mins. Someone has to be last I guess Embarrassed

Funny I have been playing this game for about a year and a half and GTR has always run fairly smooth (apart from the odd 1fps) but recently I have been having graphical problems (upgraded my graphics card about 4 months ago, so it shouldn't be that), and it's not just since the addition of the carpack! Could it be that 1.4 is causing these problems?

You must have switched it on Jonzo maybe, it's in controller settings.. but i'm surprised it works in multiplayer tbh. Think there's setting in server .plr that allows or disallows it.

Just checked and the "Enable AI Control" setting is disabled!

im confused on team points calculations?
Rules state "top 2 from each team score points towards team championship" yet we show 9 for barc when I got 10 and CJ got 4, and 15 for Magny when CJ got 15 and I got 8?? Im sure its just me being stupid but if someone could explain, sorry.

I make sure I do an update just before starting GTR/GTL/... so it doesn't pop up whilst racing but I don't have to turn it off.

The team points aren't just the total of driver points, it runs as a whole different championship. If you go to that event's page and hover your mouse cursor over the race finishing positions you can see how the scoring is done. In your case CJ got 10 team points for winning and you got 6 for finishing 3rd out of the team runners.
