As the main event ended up being a bit short,  an impromptu decision was made to have another go - just for fun.

Although personally speaking;  did not find it as much fun as practice on Thu had lead me to believe...

Cheers,
Dave.

Congrats Ray, Marco!

I started gaining some consistency practicing in the first heat. I started gaining some speed in the second heat. I'm glad I didn't seem to hurt Clive any, before the second turn of the race. I couldn't see him in my mirrors but prib was reading I was leading by 10 or 11 yards, so I swept across in front of him. It only took two more turns for me to relinquish the lead.

Blame Clive and Axel for my 166 performance. They got me driving the car in the Friday series two or three seasons ago. I grew to like it rather quickly. It's fitting that Bob and I would look somewhat like Amon during a Tasman series.

It's a shame about the discos. I managed to get lucky and only have one disco. In the first practice, I spun coming to a halt in the middle of the track. Somebody couldn't avoid me. The collision launched me several meters into the air. I landed on the wheels and bounced back into the air. Just as the car was about to land again, GPL crashed to the desktop.

Thanks for the fun guys.

You know that some people are different
Now ain't that a crying shame
Now wouldn't it be a real drag if we were all the same
