Can´t get it going. Driving alone even with 60fps everything is good. As soon as I try a race with the AI(for sure with 36fps, otherwise they don´t appear) I get a freeze around Stavelot. Have tryed several graphic-tweaks, no chance. Had to change my Mainboard recently. Now I got a Gigabyte and a AMD CPU with 4x3,6 Ghz and a 650 TI NVidia Card. I have the feeling that the Mainboard/CPU do not reconized that full Power is needed for that Application and cruise around in a better Idle-Mode. Another thing is: The 67 Original and another Mod runs without Problems.  Huh

Andreas set the power savings mode in Windows to "Höchstleistung" as long as you do GPL.

Wich CPU do you have?
How much RAM?
69X is very RAM hungry, set in core.ini:

[ Replay ]
replayMemoryOverride = 256000

Try the other v2 rasterizer. I was recently racing offline at Le Mans. With the D3Dv2 rasterizer, I couldn't complete a single lap without a screen freeze. It was such a bad screen freeze that I had to cut power to the PC. After the 2nd or 3rd time that happened, I found if I waited a minute or two the Task Manager would appear. Then I'd have to wait another minute or two for T Manager to shut down GPL. I switched to OGLv2 and I was able to qualify and run INT short races in all the GTs except the 910. In the 910 I got another screen freeze on the last lap of the race. Sad

I've learned that bsarthe has bugs since I started racing online. It's strange though, that with my previous computer I may have run 20 or more, 28 lap races offline at bsarthe and never had a problem. I didn't know what a screen freeze was until I started racing online. I always used OGLv2 with a Nvidia 9500GT or GT220 video card on my previous computer.

I need to switch to OGLv2 with my present computer. I've continued to use D3Dv2 because I haven't been able to change the font size in pribluda with OGLv2. In OGLv2 pribluda hides the chat messages because of the larger font. One of these days I need to sit down and rearrange all the pribluda displays so I can see them and see chat too. Axel has always recommended that I use OGLv2 with my present video card, a Radeon HD7850. OGLv2 seems to give a better frame rate with my present card.

I doubt this info will help you Andreas but I thought Axel might find it interesting with the recent discussions about discos/screen freezes. Axel, from the specs Andreas mentioned I'd guess he's using a FX-4100? I've been looking for a bargain on a used FX-4100 so the the specs 4X3.6 Ghz are imprinted in my brain now.
