This is my last planned GT3 race and the last planned race by me for Assetto Corsa. I only picked this up when Goldtop stopped to just carry on racing on the most appropriate night for me with GT3's my priority, i actually wasn't a big fan of AC. However to keep up with peoples appetite for this was too much especially when Tibs decided to stop, I don't have that much freetime to try out all the mods out there. I would have been happy just doing GT3's but clearly people arn't happy with that. Plus i actually want to be doing more racing so am now looking further afield and in other sims.

Hope someone does step in, but this community has shrunk massively since i first started here and unfortuneatly i don't see the trend reversing.

Hope to see you around somewhere

Thanks for your organisation, I for one really appreciated it. I do hope that someone can take it on otherwise there's going to be a big hole in Wednesday evenings.

Lap count updated.

Tricky one this to learn, plenty of hairpins and some tricky corners. Didnt realise how tough this was going to be.

1:20 for me so far, with 40L fuel. No idea where that stands. Had trouble getting any heat in the tyres, only 60degs after 10 laps.
Hoping its one of those tracks that's better to race on than practise, lots of hairpins!

Thank you Spanner for this great combo and for all your efforts, you put into organising these events  thumbup2

Great race with Luka, the whole 22 laps. Only mistakes was going to decide where we would end, with our equal pace. Braking had to be done so precise, too early and you're slow, too late and you're off.
Thank you all who kept coming back for these races  clap

That turned out to be a pretty good race.  Smiley the track presented a different challenge in these cars and it was fun trying to keep the pace up. Only thing I didn't like was the lack of grip with the car just under steering every turn on tyres that just not would warm up. Maybe run a higher ambient temp if we use again. Undecided

Had a great qually session and bagged 3rd, smashing my pb by 3 seconds  Shocked

My joy dropped a notch when I noticed Simons Nismo lined up alongside me on the grid  Tongue last I looked he was well down the order!
Just about kept ahead in the opening corners to keep 3rd, but that was thrown away on the penultimate corner when I got spat off the astro turf verge on my cold tyres and he nipped ahead  :'(
Then enjoyed chasing him hard for about 10 laps before having a couple of sloppy laps allowing shark to scamper off.
Did have a short spell late on where I closed the gap a bit but then he put in a lot of consistent fast laps that I just couldn't catch. Good work in the heavy Nismo, I really thought this would be the one track it would lose its advantage but he pulled a good lead over me in the z4.
Finished 4th about 12 secs ahead of the rest, so a good nights work  Smiley
