Thanks to Spanner for stepping in and providing us with some great racing. I don't know what is going to happen now for Wednesday nights, hopefully someone will take up baton??

Err, isn't there still one round remaining?

We haven't even used these cars at zandvoort yet either  Smiley

Last night again reminded me why we need championships/series that mean something as to where you finish and who you compete with. One off races just aren't going to give that, if people have offs or aren't competitive in a one off race are just going to bale  Sad
I'm all for using different cars at different tracks but we still need a backbone series, maybe running alternate weeks.

Pfew that was a bit of an uphill struggle. Never heard of the track before and had no practice, so the first 15 min. where much needed. Had a working setup for the SLS so that was my weapon of choice.
First lap, last corner, went a little wide and try to floor it on the astroturf on cold tires and off i went. Restarted from the pits and was happy with my race pace, only in my haste to regain time i went off again. This field is too competative to be making mistakes like that! Still had fun blasting around with this combo.

I'll be on holiday for the final round but looks like my championship lead is uncatchable anyway so yey me.  Wink Grin

My joy dropped a notch when I noticed Simons Nismo lined up alongside me on the grid  Tongue last I looked he was well down the order!
My practice was the qualifying session, so I got faster the more laps I did (as normal). Didn't feel I'd really got to grips with the car/track combo in qually though.

Good work in the heavy Nismo, I really thought this would be the one track it would lose its advantage but he pulled a good lead over me in the z4.
Took me more than half the race to really get to grips with the car/track combo, then once I'd worked out how to go faster, I did. The Nissan didn't help me, so all that extra pace was my driving not the car. I would have definitely been quicker in the other cars as the Nissan was a mare both accelerating and braking in most of the corners. I was having to be really light on the pedals.

I was sticking to the bi-weekly schedule so was going to post up Monza for next week. I would hope Chris is ready to step in soon.

I am not going to be able to do anything until 1.3 is out.

Unless someone wants to setup the stuff and i tell them the combo's im afraid it will have to wait.
