Thanks Walter, I enjoyed watching the race that ended in the dark. The winner lapped everyone else in the field so they obviously have their own aliens to worry about!

WOW! That race last night was fascinating. So many cars I'd never seen or heard of before. Brilliant

Was it just me wincing as they hammered the front wing of the Ferrari 250 breadvan to get the wheel freed after hitting another car?

Nope - was there a third car involved or had somebody else stopped/gone off in avoidance? Did you see the first race of the day? I held my breath when that fast starter on row two shot the gap between pole and second place.

Just watched the Sedan race. What a great showing! Winning car (Ford Fairlane) came from back of the field to battle the Cortinas and Alfa to take first. Gotta catch the race Sunday also....

Not sure if you could have recorded the whole day, Motors had each race separately in the schedule. Maybe if you do a manual record all day!
With the Ferrari, there seemed to be two cars off on the grass near the barriers and the ferrari seemed to spin and you just caught it hitting the nose of a another car.
Oh, yeah that was a bit tight in the first race, could have gone so wrong!

Treated myself to new recorder. Had a look earlier this afternoon and it looked like a series of about half hour programmes with whole lot for tomorrow programmed as well. Also whilst setting up next weeks programmes I was able to watch and hear the current race in small window - never taken so long to set up to record half a dozen programmes.
