Had some time this afternoon and tried these  R3E DASHBOARDS AND IN-GAME WIDGETS  and Crewchief

R3E DASHBOARDS AND IN-GAME WIDGETS the dashboards work fine not been able to get the widgets to work

Crewchief works fine and is fun and informative, not assigned any actions yet and if you want to use voice to communicate you need a mike obviously.

I tried it and found it horrible, it wandered all over the road so I left it out for now
Then....... I realised the default setup had no coast diff, added some, and it became drivable  Roll Eyes
GT says there may be other cars in that goup to come? it will find it's way in at some time for sure
The leaderboards say it is very fast, so we could do with something betweek DTM92 and Gr5  thumbup1
Either I can merge DTM92 and Touring classics as they are similar pace, but that would need a lot bigger field to make it work
or we could have 5 car sets in the series. I had a go at finding something that could run with the Audi as I didn't really want another single make set, but things were either too modern/too slow, or too fast.
Clive's point is sort of valid about "historic" being modernised. If there were Escorts and E Types I would be
running them as well. but this was the best I could find as an alternative. PCars is good, and has a couple of old cars
but there wasn't enough IMHO to make a series. Anyway I like this sim even in it's unfinished state. I makes me smile  Smiley

As much as I like 60's racing and many of the great cars from that period,  my fave by far motor racing period is the late 60's, all of 70's Afro and then lot of stuff from 80's (now known as young timers) so I'm in sim racing nirvana racing cars from those eras.

Should also say I love modern GT racing too. The Gt class in ALMS and FIA WEC has been pretty awesome for years now  Cool

Much the same. For me Flight sims were the same sort of thing, I always prefered WW1 or WW2 simple aircraft
rather than the fire and forget stuff.

Just tried the Audi GTO at Slovakia ring. Lack of visual markers mean the track takes some learning, but it's a good track for the Audi.
With a bit of setup tweaking, mostly to stop it spinning everytime I slow down or brake, it is great to 4 wheel drift it round
the faster corners. I will probably give it an outing in this series some time.

 Hey Phspok

I think the DTM's are a little faster, at Sonona I tested them both, with the DTM I get around a 1:35.5 and with the BMW touring I only managed a 1:36.5 I really feel there is about.5 to a second difference between them. But thats my opinion. If we combine Maybe all will just take the little faster DTM cars, then we might as well drop the touring class. But that class is super cool to drive, I like the touring class and that DTM is split.

Anyway I know you'll make the correct decision's your a legend friend.

What's a reasonable time around here? My Test Driver has set 2:15s in both the BMW 320 and Merc 190 - I'm much slower but only put a few laps in, whereas Grandson spent over an hour getting wound up!

Don't know a "good" time BIll, but I would say Grandson is quite handy.
I have managed a 2:17.2 so far in the Vauxhall.

Hey

I think is an ok lap, Its still like 3 seconds off the fastest guys. But I think 2:13's to 14's is good laps

Same for me. Help desk have sent me a ticket number but still no track.

Can we get this fixture moved to later in the season?

Ok. If people still can't get it by tommorow evening, then this will become Speilberg Ring
and Bathurst will move to the next DTM92 event.

2:14s now....

Er.. that's assuming that everyone has the Euro Pack or Spielberg ring...
if not then it will have to be a free track - Portimao.
