okay, some interest which is good.  Smiley  I will advertise it elsewhere but so far hasn't gained that much attention. Not sure what they don't like if they do take a look on here but hardly anyone has crossed over from the Kunos site or elsewhere. I don't know where all the Brit drivers go though know Core has quite a few. Core just keeps running series I'm not interested in even though they get great grids. I like a nice European grid like we often get here, albeit small in number. Maybe a GT3 series will spark interest as its always proved popular. I haven't even tried the GT3 cars since the last few updates as there were no races using them.
Could also do with the regular online racers like ChrisR etc to spread the word among other racers they know. I never go on the pick up servers.

Happy to try the Snett300 if its any good? We can use it as a test race for the GT3's before I kick off the Blancpain series, gives me a bit of time to get things sorted. I've track-dayed at Snett300 every year for last few years so be interesting to see how accurate it is. Will be there again in August  Smiley

I think people look here, see the grids in the previous races, and don't bother. Would you join an unknown league where the grids are 5 cars?

very true Jeff, doesn't help, maybe the mods can remove all previous events  Wink  But seeds have to grow from somewhere. I was disappointed and surprised more drivers weren't attracted to the BPR cars but events proved that they weren't that great for racing anyway.

Quite liking this years Blancpain calendar and intend to base my own loosely on the real event. Misano being the only one I want to swap out for another track as don't think its available in AC?

Misano / Italy
Round 1 / Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup

Brands Hatch Brands Hatch / Great Britain
Round 2 / Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup

Nürburgring Sprint Cup Nürburgring short / Germany
Round 3 / Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup

Budapest Truck Grand Prix Budapest / Hungary
Round 4 / Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup

Barcelona Barcelona / Spain
Round 5 / Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup

With rounds from the endurance series suitably slotted in
Monza,  Silverstone, Paul Ricard and Spa. If we had the numbers would have loved to make these longer races as per the real deal.

Looked through the last race at Core, there were about 10 drivers that have raced here. What about posting on there, asking them? I wouldnt expect everyone to be posting on here, there's always been a silent majority that don't make there views heard and will vote with their feet if they are interested or not.

With alot of places strangely running the MX 5 it will make a good opposing series!

BUt i know people think GT3s are boring but i think they provide a good middle ground, some cars easier/ harder than others alowing people to pick a car that suits them

yes many defectors to Core. Been there myself for the odd racing series, guess that's what you have to do these days, cherry pick. I miss the 25 car grids we used to get for GTR2/GTL back in the day  :'(

I think the GT3 cars are excellent in AC and everytime ive raced with them here and elsewhere the racing has been close and fantastic and I love the variation of cars as everyone usually chooses what suits them or floats their boat.  Smiley

Although I've done the odd race at Core I've never done one and missed an AC race here. RRE I don't enjoy as much so that does sometimes lose out.

I just had a quick test race weekend with a grid of 15 gt cars at Donington. They look and sound even more  amazing now with flames spitting out the exhausts, glowing brake discs and epic soundtracks  thumbup1
Trickiest bit is choosing which stead to race with! Gorgeous burbling AMG, screamy Lambo or precision McLaren and Audi not to mention others  Cool Love the way you can properly attack the kerbs too.

The next series at CORE will be Escorts, and maybe GT'3 after that, or after the summer from what I can tell. Maybe you can get some CORE people to race GT3's here, in the time they wait for CORE's series.

Car would be easy for me, Nissan  tt1 (if it still drives the same with the new tyre phyics).

Hi have downloaded the Snetterton 300 circuit from nogrip and done a couple of laps and it seemed ok. My only experience of it in real life is cycling round on my mountain bike after it was first opened a few years ago!

Soooo....what next?  Undecided

I hear people muttering about 'the next series' but what is it to be? How do I follow the Blancpain series, which although frustrating with drivers showing intent or racing once then never showing up again, I am deeming a success in terms of enjoyment and action on track and giving me something to look forward too each week, as well as our best grids for a while  Smiley
What concerns me is 28 drivers signed up at one time or another yet grids dwindled to a steady average of 12-15, why didn't they stay with it? What didn't they like?  Undecided or is it just how fickle racers are these days?

GT3 is by far the most popular with drivers and has easily the best choice of cars. It allows you to pick a new car each season and enjoy a new challenge. I wish we had enough tracks to do an alternate series like IMSA or maybe a full Brit GT series. However I could do a GT open or ADAC GT style series.  Smiley I need to look into what tracks they use.

If not gt3 then what else? I tried several formats before this without securing big grids, the e30 series being second most popular to the gt3's. Single seaters?

I'm all ears to suggestions, either openly on here or by pm if you prefer discretion  Smiley

GT2 series please. Similar to GT3 with a bit less choice, but slightly more challenging cars.
