Lo peeps,
Had a rather eventful race, but an enjoyable one this time. Managed a decent start, drove behind Gins for a while, thinking I'd take it easy , since it's an 80 mins race etc. Dunno how many laps in but after some 10-15 I made a slight error and had spin #1.
15000 Laps in GTR or so and still a rookie
I spun again soon after, not thinking I had prolly overheated the tires. Then a bunch of reasonably steady laps, woohoo

Until at I think 40 mins into the game, there was either a hitch in the game, cause I saw a couple more peeps crashing at the same time or I just lost my Bi-T-touch
(guessing it's that
) and crashed hard into the barrier in the corner AFTER the 1st tire chicane!
Engine out, rear wing had decided to take a holiday at exactly the spot where I hit the guard rail (how funny is that
) and some more damage to suspension as well, haha! Floored the throttle and nothing happened... Rammed my ignition and starter key several times and looooooooooooooooooooooo and behold!? German engineering, haha! My LUVVVerly Bi-T started again, loool!
Limped back to pit and had to do a 220 secs pit stop!!! Longest I've ever seen I think, hehe. Hence Jonzo had to wait his turn I guess
. Nothing much I could do about that, flashed my lights a bit for entertainment value, lol! But he went out for another round after a while.
Car fixed, felt great after that, dunno why!? Great bunch of laps in, all very steady. Managed to 'gain' 20 secs on whoever was in front of me at the time and opened a lead of 20 secs on the 1 behind me.
Not realising there wasn't a lot of time left for the leaders to finish, I kept semi-pushing it and managed to hit the tire chicane at a speed that even for German engineering was a bit too much (only just
) LOL!
3 Laps later... the race was finished, haha. 4 Places lost (3 in class I think), but still enjoyed it tbh.

P.S. Gutted for Popa btw, thought u had that wheel problem at first, which I sort of had at Barca
