Will be racing tonight albeit with zero practise.
Bit disappointed we haven't used any new content tbh, should be riding the wave of renewed enthusiasm with new toys to play with  Undecided

Man, almost impossible to keep up with all the changing app's and versions with AC!

I presume this combo was chosen as a lot of people will have ran this car and/or track before, as the race announcement was a bit on short notice. I am sure Chris will have some of the new content lined up for us at the next round?!

there was 1 reason why i didnt for this week

its too short notice.. i was actually thinking about not putting this up at all and just waiting until the next time but i thought i ought to get something out..plus i expect quite a low turnout so i didnt want to 'waste' any new content if you know what i mean..

as it happens, its actually quite a fun combo..

Got a target lap time? ie Alien time plus a couple of seconds  Grin

Is the default setup any good on the Elise? Not sure I've ever driven it in AC

These cars are too boring for me, that in combination with a grid that will be very small due to the late announcement, I will give this a miss.

Disappointing Jeff, you could at least turn up and see if the grid is too small. However I think you're scared ChrisR will kick your butt

My biggest issue, is the cars. If you end up alone, it will be very boring for 30 minutes. Also, I have alternatives to do tonight and I have to get up at 5 am tomorrow. So all in all, not worth it  Tongue

I tried them tonight for the first time, so opinion was based on the 1.3 patch.  Smiley

I actually really enjoyed that despite the low turnout. Thanks to some last minute setup advice and the eureka moment of turning off TC, (thanks Chris!) the car really came alive and felt just like the real one I've had pax laps with on track  Cool
With Chris being a gent and sticking to street tyres while we were on slicks, and Bob upping his pace for the race it became a great 3 car battle for most of the race and I was glued to my screen in adrenaline with the feisty Elise. Good stuff
Knocked seconds off my pb so was a useful testing session as well as a good race  Cool

Interested to know what other cars in AC are better without TC?
