David Domingues is really top notch AC phisics designer. Yes, lord Kunos knows his well and listening to him as i read last years. Same with MClaren Papa  Grin .  RSS cars ( not F1 hibrids, i hate it) is god kissed car mods for me  Tongue
This RSS F3 car feels really good and moves naturally in their big, low PSI and soft tires irl.
But i like RSR Dallara 312 too  Kiss
PS BTW Codemasters F1 2018 has a good feedback from F1 car phisics specialists  too .  Shocked They said that 2018 is very close to real and feels like a true F1 simulation Wink
But CM F1 is under anaphema from me. Too much zero waitings through the years... Undecided

i've not tried either, will download and give them a go when i get some time. I like single seaters, especially with VR, but am often put off by the comprehensive setups required to get them bang on.  Something like Formula Ford would offer more 'pure' racing.

and I've got a bridge you could buy...

The only thing Codemasters (and SMS) are actually good at is having their marketing dept pay influential people to say things that try and fool potential buyers into believing their products might be good

I know about you love of singleseaters  Smiley
Try both and and take a desigion about next modern champ.
We have one more way to easyfication of race preparing for irl busy peoples here. Just use partially neutral fixed setup. This car is neutral in default set, but still fun to drive, IMHO.
And i've agree Max with RSR ver ( dallara 312) This car is ready for champ better. ( No DRS, easy to drive close due lower speed.) We can bring to fixed setup some extra settings for more fun ( for example- more negative camber and so on)
+ we can ask fmg or max or fabri to make this fixed setup like they love it to drive  more and nervous for others.
I can make such kind of fixed set too. Just ask. Smiley

I've played that RSR a bit in the past, its good to drive even with default setup.

Single seaters + VR are just great.  My current fav is the F2004 - F2004 + VR + G-seat =  eek , followed by  I Am Not Worthy to Kunos for creating it. That thing is an absolute weapon of the highest order,  just thinking about it makes me feel a bit funny drool

You keep saying that, and then you keep poo-pooing the Formula Easter cars precisely because they ARE simple!

The classic formula ford available will sadly shed drivers like water from a ducks back. I say this because it's very realistic, and that means it really likes to bite you hard if you push it. Not that I've ever made that mistake in AC real one, honest  whistling

I’ve never said anything against those cars as I’ve never tried them! You must be getting me mixed up with someone else  Huh I haven’t got any single seater mods installed

Hi guys! If you still not done a choice for modern series- the best car in this situation is KTM X-bow-R.
Best fun car in AC when using a proper  H-Shifter and pedals! I am ready to be last in grid due learning but i am ready for races in this car anywhere, every night and every day!  Smiley
