Ronnie takes the inside line from the S/F leaving him with a tight entry into T1. Tristan is following & takes the wider entry. A gap opens at the apex for Tristan to attempt a pass. Ronnie shuts the door as he cuts back toward the inside and there is contact. Viewed from the aerial camera view there is a gap between the cars at point of contact. They were travelling at very similar speeds, so warp certainly has a part to play.
