D Boyd is gaining fast on Nakano_56. Nakano_56 lost traction off turn 2 and D Boyd manages to get next to him at the entry of turn 3. D Boyd lost traction, spun out and took Nakano_56 with him.

At the end of the lap D Boyd takes his drive through penalty. Because of this the penalty will be reduced to 0 places lost.

  • D Boyd (D Boyd (VdrSain))penalty — contact with Nakano_56 — 0 places lost

My dismal performances in the wet continue Sad I'm just not very good at it!

Qualifying went OK and the race was shaping up nicely right behind SBG with Truetom on my tail when I inexplicably missed a braking point to lose a whole chunk of time wallowing round in the sand.

BTW, Truetom, NP on the tap, it was the lightest of touches. I came within a whisker of hitting the GT, I'm not surprised you couldn't see what was happening, it was a very odd place for an incident.

Managed another off after misjudging my braking point down the back straight. Manged to catch right up to Don as we came in to pit about 1s apart, I was praying we wouldn't be allocated the same pit space!

Don made a mistake for me to get past then a couple of laps later GTR minimised back to desktop for XP to show me a "found new hardware" dialogue! cursing WTF? Luckily I was on the start/finish straight at the time so I was able to ALT+TAB back into the game and continue. A sincere apology to anyone wondering that the hell was going on with me at that point!

Bernie went off so I grabbed a place back there, tried to chase Don down but got caught behind SBG (a lap ahead of me) looking like his tyres were in VERY bad shape. I didn't have the bottle to try to overtake, I wouldn't have caught Don anyway.

Great drive Shark / SBG / Truetom for the podiums, you were all well out of my league tonight Smiley

NGT Legends have a strong lead in the NGT team championship. Very tight for 2nd place though.

2 races left, all to play for.

You're pretty close to the NGT title Shark and SBG's all but wrapped up 2nd place.

It'll be close between Don & Mark for the last podium place though!

I'm surprised we're so far ahead in the team championship, we've been pretty consistent and managed at least 2 drivers in each round though which I'm sure has helped!

Like I forgot to tell my missus I was racing and she got a bit upset as we had a guest. Its a bit difficult to keep on track and have a free and frank dicussion about domestic arrangements. Never mind I am rehabilitated now.gerald

Thanks for that pops, and tyf who was stuck behind you. Did realise you were a lap behind but I was just to scared to get off the racing line  boat. I saw Bernie go off in front only to slide off at the same point, our tyres went at the same time  surrender.

Lol ginsters! I noticed Bernie too. I was so far behind in laps though (had to do 2 stops for front tyres Sad) that I didn't really mind. Just a shame I had to let Popa by, since he was ahead of me as well and I didn't know if he wanted to give it a go for the last laps Smiley

Was very difficult to say the least once the tyres decided to go west. Hats off to you ginsters you did a great job keeping it on the grey stuff. Once my tyres were gone i think I was off at least once per lap for a good few laps in a row.

Good fun , after my other league race did got canceled , i could join in this race after all  Smiley .  It was nice to have a good result after the few not so good races.  Rain was perfect from my point of view since both me and my F575 seem to like it  Cheesy.  After a good qualifying it was nice to start the race and some 1st lap it was too  Shocked, cars sliding off here and there but finally found my self from 2nd place after the things had settled a bit.  Chased Jon there a few laps and we had a good fight going on , before his tires started to give away and overtook him on the mainstraight.   After that i slowly pulled away and had a comfortable lead , or so i thought...  before CJ got back to 2nd place and gap slowly started to shrink.

2 laps before pitstops i had about 10 secs lead , but i had some trafic on both in- and outlaps.  On top of that i had a slight off in pitroad , so i lost some valuable seconds there.  I knew its going to be tight after that and when CJ came out of the pits he was about 0.5-1 second ahead of me  Shocked , good tactics there mate , i was too conservative on my strategy  Wink.

Rest of the race i tried to keep the distance to CJ as low as possible , to be there if the rain surprises him , but CJ kept it solid and 2nd place was the best i could do this time.  Pretty happy with the result all in all , some things i could have done better , but maybe next time   Grin.

Thx all for the cool race and congratulations for CJ , nice comeback after early troubles   Cool..  Grts to Shark and other podium finishers on both classes too.

Going to miss the next race prolly , so see you around...   angel
